I got them direct from the dealership and had them installed the day I bought the bike. I’d contact your local dealer to ask about them.

I put Rineharts on my ST also. Did you do any tuning to the engine with these slip-ons? I've heard that it isn't necessary with slip-ons; and also, that it is a good idea to get it tuned. Something about catalytic converters are in the stock mufflers, so tuning should be done on the M8s. My HD dealer said not necessary. An indepenent mechanic/shop told me I should have it tuned. I'm not sure what to believe.

No mine is not tuned. I had an in-depth conversation with the performance side of the dealership and was advised that a tune for slip ons isn’t needed since the slip ons really only add volume. I was told the power gains with slips come with a cam which would need a tune. I was also told a tune is necessary with a 2-1. Personally I’ve rode with the slip on for about 200 miles with no tune and haven’t noticed or felt that it’s needed one, still pulls like a freight train when you crack the throttle, down the road I may add a tune but not now. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. It all made sence to me. Most people don't tune with the slip-ons; so I'll see how mine runs come spring. Your bike looks and sounds good.👍

With slip ons there is no need to get the bike tuned. BUT, It’s a good idea to have the bike tuned regardless if you want it to run better than from the factory. Harley has to kneecap these bikes to pass pollution and noise emission regulations. A tune will correct that.

Does your 2023 model come with the O2 sensor that's plugged into the muffler? Mine has it, which makes finding aftermarket mufflers a pain. How did you get around it?

To my knowledge the only O2 are in the header pipes, the mufflers them selves don’t have any.

@@thurmy_ hmmm… then it must be a country/region arrangement. My 2023 ST has the O2 sensor plugged into the stock mufflers. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the support, I’m sure there is a work around to get a pipe to work but it’d probably require a tune and deleting emission’s.

Is that a HD Sundowner seat that’s on your LRST? Bike sounds great!
