16/1/24. Thank you so much. I’m an 85 year old and only started with Mac about 5 years ago, and a complete ‘amateur’, but love all this modern technology. I forgot my Apple ID password and tried every which way to replace it. Was planning to make a bus ride to nearest Apple Store, but saw your video and seeing that, it was so easy to change my id password.

Two days of trying to re-set my password your video did it in 15 minutes man you are the best five thumbs up

The older ones don't take the iTunes activation bypass.... any other technique to it? Mainly focused on iPad Mini G1 and some older iPads that are of the thick kind.

If I push passcode and security it wants my iCloud passcode. When that box pops up it wants my old password for the phone not the one I use now to unlock. 😢

Finally I removed icloud using kzread.info/dash/bejne/hn5sj9ywh6eegJc.html I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 1:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 3:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho

FORGET IT! TOTALLY WRONG INFO! As of last Apple update YOU MUST WAIT 24hrs for APPLE to send You a RECOVERY PASSWORD. That SUCKS!!!

Cool although I couldn’t change password because it was still asking me for Apple id to change password so gave up. I then signed out of apple id and finally got to change password. 1 steps missed on every video watched.

OMG... So helpful just explaining that it is asking for your IPHONE passcode and not your APPLEID password solved my problem. I didn't have to reset the password. Thank you so much!

When I tap my name,Apple ID,icloud,at the top of settings nothing happens. It's never opened as long as I've owned the phone. I have a numeric passcode for the lockscreen but I can't open my name Apple ID to reset my password. It's faded and has never worked. Angry because I always had to use my password to download an app and now it's lost.

I just factory reseted my iPhone X because I forgot my passcode, and now the Apple ID password reset requires my iPhone passcode that it somehow linked to my old one. So I can’t reset the password without knowing what my old passcode is.

Yeah that’s fine and dandy if your iPad and your phone happens to be related but what if you want to change the password on someone else’s iPad like my 89-year-old mother who can’t remember her password and doesn’t have a phone… all of a sudden it’s not that simple anymore is it..

Doesn't work, once clicking on the Password & Security settings a popup asks you for your icloud password which we don't know and are trying to reset. So the phone sends you in circles. Best thing to do is get rid of the iphone and get an Android phone ... they are supper simple and way superior to any of the Apple garbage.

Apple has given me 2 different dates they would contact me to change my password. Still haven’t heard from them
