cool set up, you could make it a lot better by having a swing away bike rack at the back and then a proper pull out kitchen (you can build one yourself quite easily) you can then put in a proper leisure battery and fridge etc (this is what i have my in L322 RR) makes it much more useable and closes the gap to the practicality of a van. I get two days off my leisure battery for fridge etc and it charges every time i drive. the issues with battery drain is a modern car thing, they have so many ECU's / control modules which all fire up every time you open the doors so the car is ready to go. My RR does the same thing and it is very annoying. Only solution i think is to isolate the main battery when parked up for a while but then of course you don't have alarm etc and all the settings in radio etc change every time you do it! it is annoying!

For the battery you could get a slim battery which can be fitted behind the back of the rear seats

i got the same raptor and i use a bluetti portable power station like you do and i will be getting a second battery fitted behind the rear seat , its a popular upgrade , just have to remove the subwoofer

Great video! Should mention it takes 20+hours to charge 2000wh on the 12v, and you need to be driving or will only get like 500wh out of it. The 2000wh will probably get you through 2-3 days with what you have there.

Had no idea as I always charge up at home then use the battery on the go. Great to know this for the coming trip though cheers mate 👍

also have you got the j braces fitted under the rear tub?

Did you have to install the J braces for the bed? I am picking up my Raptor this week and putting a cap on the bed. The cap installer said I need to have additional bracing installed to support anything over 88lbs above the bed rails.

Hi Ben. I’ve got a Raptor too (in Aust). Which tub rack model did you get? Was it approved for the new Raptor tub? Did it need holes drilled etc? Can’t see it listed on Yakima site here atm. Many thanks, Mark

Hi Mark, it’s a Yakima standard rack and was very easy to install. No extra holes required 👍

Poor thing. That's like paying someone who trained their hole life to be an MMA fighter, to be a photographer. 🤣. It wants adrenaline!

@@benmooreracing Or just upload a video having some unladen semi high speed rallying fun. Nothing too crazy lol. Sneak in a few drifts, just because. If you are going to buy it, use it for what it was built for.... At least once a month lol. That is my motto😝

Whining a little too much for mine,.get over it, batteries don't last forever. Start your car every day to put some charge in.
