@@apunited its perfect for a family vehicle of a handyman. Decently efficient four door vehicle that can carry furniture and water heaters and stuff if needed. It's terrible for the large truck crowd who do actual hauling, but it feels just like my older ranger. Light duty daily.

This is the perfect truck. I know probably 20-30 people in my very suburban area have larger body on frame trucks, maybe 3 of whom have trailer hitches installed, and only one I know of who actually hauls stuff.

I have a 22 model that’s fully loaded except for the FX package which I wish I would’ve sprung for for the upgraded instrument cluster if nothing else. That being said the XL you reviewed with the tow package and all wheel drive. It’s a pretty good deal.

This is what people are looking for. Cheap trucks so they can modify on their own. Lyft it, put a grill, light bar , grill, spray the liner and slap your own rims if you get the Xl package.

The simplicity of the interior and the infotainment is actually very refreshing compared to everything else that's going on in the market today. All I want and need is just pertinent information to the condition of the truck. Different gauge layouts only work for me if there's more information that is EASY TO READ (manufacturers take note) and that's all. Digital readout for transmission temp and oil temp? Nice. Speedometer changing fonts with flames on the rim? Why?

Hello! so I am seriously considering studying car design and i have some questions. im from germany and have heard that Pforzheim is apparenty a pretty good university for automotive design but (please correct me if im wrong) i think Pforzheim only offers the master of arts in transportation design wich i couldnt start without having studied design before. is there a way to get into car design right after leaving school?

Considering how over-embellished so many vehicles are, with their curves, shiny plastic, and bumps and dongles.. and all the doo-dads on the interior, this vehicles feels nice.. only complaint is they have no stock models with the lift and wheels like you have.. but if they did, it would would cost 10k more, because of how it “looks”.. but that’s not really a problem, just install the lifted suspension and new wheels, all good.. your truck looks great.

Firstly, great to see your videos again. I lost you for 2 years; but how 🤔 ?! Secondly, I can't "believe" that you didn't mention/compare the change in the tailgate. Before, it was smooth, with a curve, and the name. It was the No.1 feature of the Maverick (called "Ford Ranger" in my county) just like a blonde woman may be most noted in her appearance (for arguments sake) by her beautiful blonde hair (for want of a less contentious analogy). Now the tailgate has the depression, and the name embossed. It makes it look different, and has removed the characteristic feature that set it apart, and made it famous in the first place, when they first came out (way back when....). It's like a movie star that gets some work done, and looks totally different and creepy; losing his or her beauty. I'm just surprised. But I love your channel; how did I lose it ? I thought you'd gone, or had been sucked up by a car company for exclusive car design 👍

It’s still massive. 95% of people really don’t need a car of this size in reality. Back in the days everybody had sedans for their groceries. You can always rent a trailer if you need to move stuff. But Ford successfully made everybody want to buy an unnecessary truck which are more expensive.
