Love both Raptor R & TRX but Raptor R gonna cost waaaay more for essentially an identical truck. I found out a dealership my buddy works at is selling their Raptor R for $175k!

I've owned a 2014 Raptor V8, a 2018 Raptor w/ full Whipple tune and upgrades, and a 2021 Raptor... Sold that and got a TRX and I'd NEVER switch back even if the Raptor had a V8. My favorite part isn't even the V8, it's the interior quality, features, steering feel, literally every aspect except the tailgate step (I miss that from that Raptor) the TRX beats it. The R is the same ol truck different engine, and the TRX is a completely different and premium feeling beast. My previous Raptors were great, but my TRX is just in a other league

I just got my new 2023 TRX and I was driving a 2020 Raptor. You're right, I can't get over how much nicer this thing is. I got it for 6k under sticker which is pretty awesome. Raptor R going for 50-70K over sticker around here. No thanks.

I hated the turbo V6 when they came out in 2010-2011 But... With years of fine tuning and years of data showing it performs not as good but Way better than the V8 I've come to realize it's not bad at all.

I like the Raptor but love the TRX and the TRX is faster at constant 3.4 0 to 60....Just a better truck...Seeing a lot of Raptors breaking parts from cheap build but not on the TRX....To each is own and I was a Ford Guy with a 2021 Raptor 37....Best switch I ever did and glad I did....

Nice truck I think it's a little expensive everything takes spensley ridiculous now but if you're going to use that to drive cross-country it won't make it to some of the states with 9 Mi to the gallon don't know the size of the gas tank cuz you'll have to fill up but it always put an aftermarket exhaust in it and you can put a tune in it to get better gas mileage and you'll still have plenty of horsepower

But mpg is not a factor at all when it comes to buying one of these. I’m going with the TRX over the R. Ford messed up with this one. It should have launch control and more power than the TRX. I have a 2019 Raptor. Dodge absolutely murdered the v7 raptor with the trx release. I was hoping ford would do the same or similar here. I’m disappointed.

The TRX sounds better, was built around its 702 hp and didn't start life as an Eco boost and then had a v8 shoehorned in.

I have a ram trx but I love both, amazing powerplants and unique, i need them both so i can push them! For le no hating amazing machine’s, need them on next life.. BURNFUEL, NO COAL NEEDED E85 CORN!🤫make it cheaper.

Terrible take my guy. Things to expensive just for the trx to look better interior and exterior. More features, nicer sounding exhaust.
