I agree!!! I’m sooo over the new stuff ALL the time… then they declutter the new stuff they just bought. It’s Frustrating and boring. I GET “window shopping” to show what’s out and new…. But I’m out once they start bring all that mass produced stuff home. This video was great!!!

I sanded my tops and restained. I used chalk paint on the bottoms. They look like new for only a fraction of the price.

NO!! It is not weird to have pictures of your kids in your bedroom!!! Children are God's greatest gift to us and having them on display in your bedroom where you can look at them first thing in the morning or last thing at night before you go to sleep is absolutely beautiful. But you do need to get a photo of you and hubby in there too. I think you're bedroom turned out absolutely beautiful It's warm it's inviting its relaxing as a bedroom should be❤

Hey tori! Curtains are super expensive. I started using twin size sheets. They are long enough and so many colors to choose from. I use the clips or make a small tear in the back and put the rod through. It’s a frugal way to have curtains

Can you show us before and after pics?

I don’t think it’s weird to have that many pics of your kids. However I don’t think you need all those. It’s seems a little overkill to have every wall with a print on it. It’s okay to have some spaces on your walls. You need to try to get some prints of you as a couple. (Like from relatives or candids.) they don’t have to be of your wedding day or engagement. However; I’ve heard before (and I believe it’s true)-it strengthens your relationship to have pics of you as a loving couple and happy in your spaces. Especially your bedroom. Your children are adorable, and while I don’t want to down on anyone’s kids (I’ve got four myself)- your focus in your bedroom should be on you together as a couple. I’ve got pics of my kids in my room as well as their artwork gifts they’ve given me. But I’ve also got a copy of my wedding invitation in a frame, and a picture of my husband with his parents as a baby (they divorced when he was a baby, and his dad passed away a few years back, so it’s comforting for him). But the focus should be on the people who live in that room. I’d say leave the pic on the dresser, but move the other two on the walls. Or do a vignette on the wall with the three together. But personally, I’d have the one of the girls and another of my husband and I on the tv console. It can be a little 4x6 or 5x7 recent. It doesn’t have to be a professional canvas.

You should definitely reuse your pieces. Your furniture looks well made. Just sand down and restain. Your furniture will look like new. No need to spend money you don't have.

Tori, I honestly don’t mind your chattiness, but chattiness + all the cleaning in between = super lengthy video. I often can’t find the time to sit and watch a full video, but I have to do it in spurts or just forget to revisit the video altogether. Please consider focusing more on the decorating part vs incorporating the cleaning aspect.
