The seniority pressure in Japan is not inferior to that in South Korea, probably because Jake speaks good Japanese (as mentioned in this episode) and the two foreign students resonated with each other in the Korean group. I'm so proud of Ni-ki! I was worried he wouldn't say much because he gets quiet around people he doesn't know, but he spoke so much, was super charismatic, and engaged really well with Eunchae! Every time he's come on a variety show you can see his lovely sense of humor and laid back style that puts people at ease. Manchae and Mandu with Jake were a wonderful combination. I hope they become more comfortable around each other or even friends. Let's hope Hybe does a full family Playground at some point. I'd love to see it!

We all know how introverted Ni-ki can be when talking to people outside of his members. But for me it is memorable that even though he couldn't make eye contact with Eunchae, he made an effort to make the atmosphere pleasant and talk a lot. I love his relationship with Jake, they really seem like brothers. Ni-ki will always be very grateful to his teammates because after his debut they really raised him well

Lol, yes. Ni-ki is the member who is the shyest when around people he's not close with. Even during trainee days, he was too shy to speak to the other members, even though he really wanted to be friends, and would try to send them looks to signal he wanted them to talk to him. Unfortunately he didn't realize his gaze was a little too strong so they couldn't decode his appealing face 🤣🤣

And I want to appreciate Jake for taking the comfortable atmosphere to the next step. He asks her some questions, jokes with her, and even assured her it’s alright to cry. Niki wasn’t too comfortable making eye contact very much, but he looks over to her quite a few times. He also asked her back some questions. And Eunchae doesn’t address him with “sunbaenim” anymore. He probably told her it’s ok not to. So she addresses Ni-ki with “nim.” He’s a year older than her, but they fr seemed like same-age friends.

Well, I could tell that Jake doesn't really push his seniority towards his younger members. Though he adores them, he treats them as his equal and with the same respect he has for the older members. That's why Ni-Ki is too comfortable playing around with him and just be a kid. Also, I just love how funny Jake is with his little antics and how adorable Ni-Ki is esp. when he's shy. Our maknae was just facing his hyung like 99% of this episode and was avoiding eye contact with the host 😂 More variety show guestings for my YunKi, please!
