Eloy Casagrande no defraudó en su paso por el TamTam DrumFest. Había muchísima expectativa por ver al que para muchos es el mejor baterista de Metal en la actualidad. No hubo descanso en ningún momento, Casagrande hizo un despliegue descomunal de una técnica impecable, una musicalidad y creatividad fuera de lo normal. Sólo teníamos que ver las caras del público y también la de todo el backstage, para darnos cuenta de que estábamos viendo a uno de lo mejores bateristas del momento. A todo esto, sumamos que Eloy es un gran tipo que nos hizo pasar un fin de semana espectacular dentro y fuera del escenario.
Gracias Eloy, no olvidaremos nunca tu paso por el festival, y esperamos verte pronto

Eloy Casagrande did not disappoint anybody during his time at TamTam DrumFest. There was a lot of expectation to see what for many of us is today the best Metal drummer. Casagrande made an enormous display of impeccable technique, unusual musicality and creativity. We just had to see the faces of the audience and also the entire backstage, to check out that we were seeing one of the best drummers of the moment. All of this, we add that Eloy is a great guy who made us have a spectacular weekend on and off stage.
Thank you Eloy, we will never forget your time at the festival, and we hope to see you soon

I remember jumping on the Eloy train in 2018. As an american drummer I remember saying this is the best drummer i've seen in past 25yrs. The flack I received was hilarious and now the whole world for some reason has turned the corner and is with me on this. Geese I wonder why? Lol!! He can be anything in any music that you can present. I say "he can be anything" because he becomes the music. I haven't seen this since Vinnie... Or Jeff. Makes me smile every time I hear him play, no matter what he's doing.

He is good, he is REALLY good. But there are others who are good too, Aric improta of Night verses, check his playing. In the metalcore world though people should be paying attention to Adam Gray, he got the chops.

Yes, I am really new to Eloy, somehow a "who's the new drummer for slipknot?" reaction video came up in my feed, and I knew from the first second of watching that, that this is an incredibly exciting drummer. I said this to my 21 year old nephew who's a bit of a metal head. I said this guy is the most exciting thing to happen to drumming (or music) in the last 25 years!! More or less exactly what you're saying! And I totally see what you mean about him becoming the music and Vinnie and Jeff!
All Metal drummers can play fast but none have the freaking power of this man.

Man i am really upset at my self that i have just heard of this man after seeing slipknot play again ,with his skill and energy it breaths life back into fans .joey was my favorite drummer ever but eloys veristility and style from his culture sets him so apart from any other drummer ,i wish this man knew how excited we are to see what he can bring to slipknot and im glad his exposure to me through slipknot has brought me to find so.e of his finest work . Eloy dont let the stress get to you you already have 100 percent of the day one slipknot fans fripping their seats ,jump suits pop up show you played hard as hell keep that energy it is exqctly what this band has been missing. Best of luck cant wait to see yall live . For the record it is nothing again jay . But i havnt bought liste.ed to a full album ,seen a show or watched a show without joey he didnt fot the band it wasnt a comparison ,you not only compare but bring many other styles and rythms into metal . Stupid exicted for the next slipknot album ,were excited to see your creative flow with them have fun

Amazing performance! What a great drummer! So creative, powerful, dynamic... He is an adiction!
Couldn't even read the topic all the way before clicking. One of the most natural drummers ever, it's like speaking the language for him. The mix of power and dynamics is seriously impressive! I wish we could get subtitles for this. Edit. His performance of Resolution on Drumeo was already mindblowing, but I think he pushed a bit further here.

Eu não sei se admiro o exímio baterista ou a pessoa Eloy, bem com certeza os dois! Ele se torna extraordinário por ser este conjunto. Eu mesmo não tocando nada, eu com certeza não teria desconforto em tocar minha bateria perto dele, porque ele é Eloy Casa Grande e não um Eloy pequeno. Parabéns e sucesso sempre sou fã!

Great performance but the mix sounds awful . Where is the kick drum and ghost notes?
Questionable decision using a camera mounted on a shaking drum riser. Incredible performance nonetheless.
