This was slightly helpful, but you need to be more thorough with your tutorials. There are too many download options to choose from in each category & the one you think will work, may not. After a half hour of trial & error, installing & deleting, I finally got it to work. I have the new HD10 btw.

It worked for me so ty. Didn’t take longer than 5 mins. But I had to pause and rewind a bunch because you weren’t too specific with which file types to focus on. In the end, the first two 7+ files combined with a recent playstore version of Jan 25 worked.

I am an every-day mommy with no real computer experience. I was able to ad Google Pay to my son's Fire and now he has access to better learning apps :) Thank you soooooooo much!

I dont have the "files" app on my device. I did this a few years ago and about everything is the same. But this time around i don't have the files app(as how i started the comment) I'm using a Fire 7 (7th generation) im not sure if its possible to get a files app on this version of the tablet.

Guys i encountered a few problems so if u have 10th and lower download the 5+ verions of u got 10+ download the higher version did it alot of problem parsing package if the first dont work use the next guys🎉

I followed the instructions about all of the permissions.Then I googled “how to download play store on a Amazon kindle fire 8..when I clicked on how to geek I went all the way down to google play store universal nodpi and downloaded it.Then I went to my files and clicked on that file-and gave it permission to download and all of the files were in that one link and it downloaded it.I didn’t have to download all of those other ones

Same here , i just downloaded fire toolbox v34 and its a much simpler solution than this process, very safe and easy to use.

Thank you for going to the trouble of making this tutorial but I found another, easier an faster way of doing this. I was messing about with this method for well over 3 hours and gave up. I eventually found another video that helps users download software onto your desktop and then transfers it to the tablet. Much easier but again, thanks. At the end of the day, customers who buy this shouldn't have to go through this, it's ridicuouls so I agree with you there.

Had the same issue. There was like 2 versions Android(10+) and Android(5+). The 5+ worked for me. I have Fire HD10(11th gen).

Aye I got the 11th gen and its just the Google play store that's not wanting to download, is there a way around that because I never seen any options for the 11th gen

Hoping someone can help here. I bought this tablet, side loaded the Google play store. Everything was working great. Ps2 emulation really surprised me. Ppsspp. But all of a sudden apps started to crash. Aethersx2 wouldnt open. It would launch and crash immediately. I tried everything that I could think of. Clearing cache, force closing, deleting, reinstalling the app. Turning the tablet off and on. Any ideas out there that dont involve resetting the tablet and starting from scratch?

I like how you took your time and didn't rush real through it real fast to show us on how to do that

I've tried.. MORE THEN 4 TIMES the first attempt I got lazy and didn't do it in order. The second attempt I got one wrong in orde. The 3rd attempt one of the apk files didn't install the 4th attempt this makes me mad the same thing happened. I'm so frustrated I don't know what I did wrong can someone explain to me because I need to install important apps on there please?

My google play is not downloading ita coming there was a problem parsing the package

all went good till the last thing. the final apk did not launch mentioning it has several signatures.

I thought it was easy to follow (you basically follow the steps on the website ;) ). It didnt work for me at first because I didnt take the right android version of the google play store file. For my Kids Fire 10hd I had to install the Android 6.0+ file instead of the Android 12+ file. Thanks!

I keep maxing out my Fire 8 main memory with books. Is there any way to store and read ebooks straight from my installed micro sd card? There's just over 14GB available that I'd like to utilize, unless there's a way to upload my surplus books so I can read them directly from some kind of Cloud storage.

Yea thats always been the issue when I've done this. It does not go on your SD card so all of your games,apps,movies and books go to internal storage. I have not seen any work around to this anywhere so if somebody out there has figured one out - please post it...

My games and photos do go to the SD card and can be accessed. It's books that the problem. I'm researching other tablets of comparable size with realistic storage capabilities that I can afford.
