I still find it unfortunate that we can't play as Boss characters like Raditz or Frieza. Every boss has a unique skill set and animations that are already in the game, it'd be nice to at least get a mode that allows us to play as them in the future.

Too many of these videos claiming new playable characters “update” when it’s actually fucking mods. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy a good mod, but not when I’m actually looking to figure out which characters are ACTUALLY PLAYABLE NORMALLY

Budokai Tenkiachi 3 will forever be the goated dragon ball z game, for this very reason! Being able to play as every character and every character has their own story line. We all hope and pray that sparkling zero will save us all.

I have always thought that it was a missed opportunity to not add Frieza as a secret post-game character you unlock after beating him at level 300, considering how they altered the story in the DLC with him being permanently alive and stuff. With two transformations: Full Power (buff Frieza, 100% BP increase) and Golden Frieza (200% BP increase).

In Bardock's DLC you play as the villain... Bardock's a bad guy. But I know what you mean, I'd like to be the litteral villain, kill NPC's, etc. in the actual open world game too.

I think they should add a mode where you can play from the villain's perspective in the story.

I hope we get an update were we play as the support characters

I was half expecting that by the end of Z main story here, we'd get Buu as playable, but now seeing all teh villains/other npcs actually playable, i'd buy a DLC een if it as just a few extra characters to play as that are on the villain side, hell maybe even incorporate some what ifs in , Awesome vid as always and gets me pumped to play anything DB related.

Frieza's tail bugs the heck out of me. Looks like my Dragon Stars Frieza figure. No matter how you pose it, it's always in some weird "S" shape. If they officially released Frieza, I'm sure that small detail would be smoothed out.

Honestly no idea why they didn’t let us use these characters. And like you said they’re actually fully fledged characters with their own movesets. Man

They probably have such low ki because they dont need to scale when levelled up due to not being playable. So their moves likely dont take up any actual ki as enemies.

It was really weird how I got it working, so basically I had to use a trainer program, it's a cheat app that you can download from Google and basically I set it so that all my characters would get infinite exp, so I had to do 1 battle and they all leveled up to max.

They need to add villain mode in the regular game without mods

You can fight bonus in the training room in the main story

Maybe they add a tournament of power, and you can use each character in around 10 fights

TBH, Bandai really screwed up BIG TIME on Kakarot when they didn't allow options like this. Plus most DB games have VS mode too so I don't know WHY in HELL they didn't add that in the game TBH. I would love to do some PVP matches with friends with this game online. Imagine all the fun we could have! :) Pick your favorite character, fight and such to your hearts content, etc. Would be the best PVP experience in every Dragon Ball game TBH if Bandai made this happen. If BANDAI is reading this comment. MAKE IT HAPPEN PLS! xD We need it. lol. And outfit changes, etc. Let us play any character at will, etc. We need Tournament of Power dang it. lol.
