Yep , even though kids can be loud and really annoying if they're yelling and making noise at least you know they're alright because if they're not being loud and annoying then that means they're getting into trouble or gone.

Another idea would be to put 3 houses in the bowl spaced apart and then put a small tree on both sides of the middle house between the houses and then sprinkle some snow in the bottom around them. Love all the dough bowls.... boy,do you have an impressive collection! My favorite was the large muted balls from Hobby Lobby and the white houses . Someone mentioned sprinkling some faux snow ... I love that idea... with many some tiny mini pine cones around the base of the houses. or greens with snow. Wow... when you got out the various trays... what a plethora of decor!!!! Your options are endless!!!! Looks like you had a heck of a shopping spree!!!! My one tip.... life is too short for unburned candles!!!! Light one and see the difference in the feel of your vignettes or room! Candlelight is magical!

I’ve done something similar with ornaments in a bowl. I’ve taken ribbon and run it through the bowl so it has a little depth and texture. Something similar to the way you did the lights
