Happy Lunar New Year! It is now the year of the water rabbit. Enjoy this loud and large Lunar New Year Parade, which continued for more than 5 hours. It is the biggest annual celebration in Boston's Chinatown, the 3rd largest Chinese community in the US. See the traditional lion dances going from business to business throughout Chinatown - hear the drums, cymbals, and firecrackers - and imagine the smell of the delicious food, oranges, and cabbage. You will see a lot of yellow (symbolizing wisdom), red and black (courage), and green and black (fierceness).
