LTZ 5.3 is best for me. Enough power and amenities. I have had about 5 of them over the years. Only problem I’ve had is the 8 speed trans, it’s a piece of crap. 5.3 is a great motor.

Thanks for the feedback! Good thing all of the engines (aside from the 2.7) come with the 10 speed.

is the rear seat hidden storage available with cloth seat option in LT trim? (inside the back of the seat)

Yes! It is available with both the leather and cloth seating. The cloth storage package should be RPO code R7O.

@@CarsMadeSimple thanks, is R70 code available in extended cab models? I ask because, are the seat bottoms exactly the same (dimensions)between a extended cab model and a crew cab model.?

I have a 2014 LTZ do the 2023 have a sunroof?

I have a 2019. The all windows down button is the biggest waist of space…I’ve never used it..would much rather have adjustable pedals. But oh well….love the truck though. 6.2 only way to go

The adjustable pedals are nice. I have to admit, I would rarely use the all windows down feature as well because I would forget it is there. Plus the window switches are already at your finger tips on the door.

GM has lost their minds all the extra charges for ANTHING. Folks make sure you have the storage package or no rear armrest seat.

High Country has better qualiry leather and a many options people want in a deluxe truck. A better value and what I ordered.

I would not get the Z71 package, it makes the truck ride hard

That same truck to buy here in New Zealand is approx $100000 USD.....we're getting screwed here by the distributors

I’d agree if it weren’t for the need for them to be converted from left to right hand drive for the Australasian market, there’s a lot of re-engineering and manufacturing that’s had to take place to make them possible to sell here and this bares out because the Ford F150 and the Ram 1500’s carry similar premiums due to similar re-engineering etc

@@NZsarge1 I understand what your saying but an extra 50% on the price is a bit excessive in my opinion, given there's a margin in there for freight costs as well but you'd still have to say the numbers are being tweaked regardless. I've juggled back and forth a number of times over the last few weeks between a new 3lt Wildtrack or a ZR2, availability pushed me into the Wildtrack but based on value for money I think it was the right way to go....Time will tell, those ZR2s are a bloody nice truck though.

@@NZsarge1 Exactly, No ANCAP rating on the ZR2 but I believe the new LTZ does have along with a bit of extra tech, adaptive cruise and Heads Up display etc etc....I must have split the pros and cons ten different ways and driven the GMSV dealers mad but as I say pick up new Wildtrack next week after ARB has had at it with $50k of extras. Hoping I've made the right choice....I did still save $25k over purchasing a ZR2 though which is one bonus

LTZ can only get with 4 big doors, no option for double cab. So to me, it is the LT just for that one reason. I do not need 4 big doors, what i want is the larger bed without having such a long overall truck.

The RST is technically the highest trim in the double cab configuration. If you want more of the chrome appearance, the LT would be the way to go. The RST Double Cab with Standard Bed is also the only way to get a 6.2 V8 with that Cab/Bed combo.

@@CarsMadeSimple RST has painted bumpers, i prefer chrome. 5.3 is good enough for me. LT only model that checks off the boxes for me.

I have a 2023,still waiting on a call back why my radio goes off.

I love the LTZ but the 6 cyl only come in Diesel.

LTZ has rain sensing.

Off road pages is not worth it get the 2500 if you want the real up grade .

$1,000-$1,800 increase is small? I dont think so. Car prices are getting freaki ridiculous. Pushing $100k for a dang pick up, no matter the options like the Denali Ultimate, is just asinine.

If inflation normally resides around 2-3%, a 1.5% increase is not abnormal.

No it isnt. These are luxury pickup trucks for people who want the feel of a Cadillac but need the option of a bed that may not be used on a daily basis but gets used often enough. You don’t have to worry about whats asinine to you when they make a very cheap version. Buy a WT and mind your business. Let the High Country buyers mind theirs. Simple!

Transmission problem really

These truckes are all garbage trust me i bought brand new and complete lemon . 🍋 My friend had same problems

Chevy is junk now! Should buy a Ford. Actually, the Toyota is the best! Wait until your rear end crunches, and all the electronics break! Buy a 2021 Toyota Tundra! Best truck made!👍😉🇺🇸🐍

Ford is going downhill also! My 2021 with 54k miles had to have the rear hubs and bearings replaced so glad the warranty paid for this..one more problem and I’m trading that ford in! The auto industry can suck it!
