i like the LT because there is space for my radios UHF/VHF and HF.

Son, the 5.3 has been in production since I was 18. 41 now.

I just purchased a new but 2023 Silverado LT 4x4 with the Duramax. Sticker price was 59k but after rebates I got it for 46k.

Disappointed in the fact that Chevrolet took the wheels from my 2020 RST and made them more standard on the LT now instead. I think they look so much better mixed with the painted bumpers on the RST.

Forgot about the duramax engine option. Pretty bad oversight by a sales guy.

I have yet to see an LT with fog lights, if you want fog lights, you have to take the RST trim level.

I wonder if you can just get a 2 door option with more of a bed? Seems like they are all 4 doors with a short bed these days.

I have a LT but not 5th windows in the back?

Which trim level is higher? A Z71 RST or a Z71 LT TrailBoss? Thank you.

Technically, the LT Trailboss would be the higher trim level but the 2 models can be optioned similarly (LT Trail Boss has a higher starting price given it has additional standard off-road equipment and appearnce packages). With the LT Trail Boss, you are getting Z7X Suspension Package which is similar to the Z71 Off-Road Package but adds s 2" lift and monotube shocks (cannot get this from the factory on the RST). You also get the signature look of the Trail Boss with the aggressive hood, red recvoery hooks, Z71 badging and a few other goodies!

The crome on the mirrots of the rst come off from washing it o noticed it on my dads 2023 rst performamce silverado 1500

is there a 12 volt power accessory {cigarette lighter} plug anywhere in these silverados?

Yes, one up front as well as in the back for passengers. I have a 2019 Silverado RST All-Star Edition.

@@dmac562 yours is 2019. This video is about the 2023. Times have changed, I don't think the newer ones have them anymore.

Did you mis speak on diesel ? 3.0 in line 6 not a 4 cyl correct ??

Hey Ivan! It looks like we missed speaking on the 3.0L Diesel... apologies! However there is indeed a 4-cylinder option now available on the 1500s (4 total engine options, not 3). One thing to note about the 3.0L Diesel is that it did recieve perfromance improvements year over year! We just put another video together overviewing the 4 options. all those "fancy" grill and front end features make it real pain the butt to clean and keep clean..

If GM bothers to release the accessory kit for these refresh trucks, yes, fogs "should" be available to add as an accessory.

@@_-Montana-_ The 2.7 HO tows just fine. I pulled 6,000lbs worth of u-haul car trailer (not dolly) and Mercury Mariner and it pulled great. Better than the 5.3s I've owned, a very diesel like experience.

@@killercan10 Same here. I tow my 6000-ish travel trailer just fine up grades here in oregon, going over Mt hood and the ranges on the way to the coast. Did this for a year with my 08 tahoe with a 5.3....boy, was that an experience/education.

Not a fan of the digital gage Just doesn’t look right to me

the console shifters suck. they are overly complicated for no reason and take that mechanical connection away...and i got stuck with that stupid thing cause you can't get a bench seat in an LT...but you can't get dual climate in the Custom...so if you want the trail boss with dual climate so your wife don't melt you out the truck in the winter, you can't have a bench seat, you gotta have that dumb console with the crappy shifter its the one thing i dislike about my truck...and unfortunately it is the thing i use and see every time i drive so that dislike gets reinforced constantly...every time i grab the shifter and try to move it into park and then realize i gotta push the overly engineered and stupid button on top instead i curse the moronic design team that thought it was a good idea. every time my dog can't lay down on a bench seat and be calm, and instead is pacing the back seat and drooling all over my shoulders i lament my lack of bench seat. its a truck, so except for the high country a bench should be an option...work first...like you can keep the digital dash and all the tech stuff, but give me practical stuff like sliding rear window, bench seat, electrical outlet in cab, window switch with auto up down on all windows....like you can get that dash switch, the "fart button" where you push it and all the windows auto down...which is great when a dog fart is bout to choke you out...but then you gotta hold the door window switches up to return them...but...logically...be easier and more convenient if Chevy just made the driver door cluster all auto up and down...cumulatively flicking 4 switches down then up is less labor intensive than hitting the fart button down then holding switches up. IT just seems like this vehicle did not have enough input from someone that actually uses a truck as a truck and wants practical convenience.... the one thing that is perfect is the floormats on the z71 package...that is the right kinda thinking there. need more of that...also, the Glacier blue...so dang pretty!
