My brother has one in China. He has put on it over 1 million kms, and it never broke down, still running strong. Quality improved a lot than 10 years ago.

I own the Tiggo 8 Pro 2022 in South Africa, and I can attest that this car does not disappoint. 1st class automobile all round. Would love to upgrade to the pro Max for more power and updated looks.

I have been privileged to be using Chery Tiggo 8 Pro for just over a year now, it’s a fantastic car having the smoothest ride, top notch features adaptive cruise control, ADAS, blind sport detector, spacious 7 seater. I have driven Audi A6 before and Cherry’s ride is not less smoother than Audi. Love it!!

我在经销商试驾的奇瑞艾瑞泽 8，2.0GT 版本，轮胎的花纹已经很小，但是，依然可以达到 0-140km/h-7.5 s的成绩…而吉利 perfect，100km/h-7.8s…但是外观很漂亮

Based on the look, specs and given warranty, no doubt it's a very strong contender, personally I like it very much. But if to compare it with the X90, I would pick X90 (Flagship) due to some reasons: 1) For someone likes me who's currently owning a mid-size 3 rows MPV (with 2nd row captain seats and sliding door type), planning to change it to a similar size SUV, 2) For those who need to use it as a family car regularly with more than 2 kids on board, 3) Have been used to the conveniences to access 3rd row via the 2nd row aisle. If someone just looking for a straight 5 seaters midsize SUV (hardly use the 3rd row in daily practice), this Tiggo 8 Pro is the best value-added deal against others straight 5 seaters SUV...

Considering the built quality..should in bucket list

Test driven the Toyota Innova Zenix and I was rather disappointed. Interior is rather basic for the petrol version and lack of many feature a modern car should have. So this Tiggo 8 Pro is definitely a much better option than the Innova Zenix.

Both I tested, Innova Zenix 3rd row passenger can sit comfortable, but overall I would prefer Tiggo 8pro.

I will take this Cherry Tiggo 8 Pro over X90, CRV, CX-5,CX-8 and all the other SUVs. At least its fully speced. You get what you pay. Honda, Mazda you pay for the badge just like you pay for the badge for Mercedez,BMW.. usually at huge premium.

Damn it. I own a crv 2024 1.5 turbo. I regretted it. Rather pick this one. But what do i do? My wife love crv over the chinese car. Fret not in the next 5 years i will upgrade my car. I will kiv this car and what cherry has to offer soooon.

WoW, Tomorrow I’m having appointments with SA to book a CRV… Now I’m thinking better to wait for this one, If less than 170k on the road surely will go over CRV, even upcoming CRV.. X90? Haha Can’t even compare with this car.. This one is very very cool and younger than X90… Btw I have proton persona2022 and I like proton cars

Makes you wonder what the Proton team have been up to given how much longer they've had to nurture the Geely connection to see now other brands come in so fast and with such ranges...

I wish they released the AWD model in Malaysia instead of this FWD one only.

Just based on the looks alone, I will choose this over the X90.

Seen this car at KL motor show and X90 on road show, this is definitely more family friendly, boot load height X90 too high; Sony speaker, 2.0 turbo, Android auto, 4 cylinder, bigger wide screen, lighting all win. Proton is over selling their X90, old model nothing much feature, don’t force people to accept a 3 cylinder

Chery sold 1.88 million cars in 2023, and it is impossible for so many consumers to buy products of poor quality, which is enough to prove that their quality is guaranteed.

X90 ada instant torque dari motor elektrik. Itu lah pemandu rasa X90 cukup power. Tapi tengok lah nombor 0-100 km/h X90. Kalau, 7 saat, ini memang bagus, tapi tidak semesti di kelajuan semasa memotong.

I have tiggo 8 pro 2023, in turkey. amazing car, makes you feel happy inside. only downsides are, yea its cheap because its suspansion system and soundproofing is not premium =). but still the best car for the price

If you are parking at the side road, the 3rd row passengers (mostly kids) will have to exit towards the road traffic rather than the sidewalk. Isn’t that unsafe?

10 year or 1 mil km warranty on the engine says a lot. This warranty doesn't apply to anything else like the transmission, and other parts of the car. What is the overall warranty for this car? Any info on that?

Zenix fuel efficiency than Tiggo, but Tiggo cheaper 5200, can cover. In term specs, design, material, handling, engine power & comfort, Tiggo win all. In term of reliable, both Tiggo (proven in other countries) and Zenix (toyota reputation) are same. Zenix 3rd row with bigger space, and can be entered from left + right from 2nd row. But if third row not use frequently (maybe once per quarter for family trip) or young kids, then Tiggo should be enough. In term of price, Tiggo is CKD while Zenix is CBU from Indo (with ~+50k import tax), not worth. In term of resale value, Zenix might better. But if you plan to drive the car > 7 years, then resale value will not much high and different already. In term of after sales service, with ~32 outlets in Malaysia, I believe Chery will do better......

It depends on whether you value brand value more or product cost-effectiveness. Chery has a higher cost performance ratio, while Toyota has a higher brand influence.If we only consider quality, I don't think there is any difference in quality between these two brands of cars.

A steal for the price. With Golf GTI level powertrain. Tiguan AllSpace is too expensive suddenly. 256 hp can bully a lot other cars on the road hehe.

Why does digital meter look like very similar to X90? And also engine from china seems like using same like geely TGDi, 7 speed DCT sound very similar to Proton, is it from same manufacturer? Anyway, still need to wait for review on how it drive to fully claim that this is better than others. If it drive at least on par with X90, i think this is far better choice, unless u are buying for passengers instead of driving satisfaction
