2023 BYD Denza D9 in-depth Walkaround
The new car features a striking design with a massive chainmail grille that adds a bold touch. The grille seamlessly integrates with the headlights, which are highlighted by LED daytime running lights, creating an atmospheric appearance. From the side, the car maintains the traditional MPV styling, showcasing a sleek one-piece door handle and impressive 19-inch dense spoked wheels.
For the hybrid models, the driving range falls between 945 and 1040 kilometers, offering 190 kilometers of pure electric range. The vehicle supports fast charging up to 80kW DC, and its fuel consumption is impressively low, at only 6.2 liters per 100 kilometers. These hybrid versions combine a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor in the innovative EHS170 electric hybrid system, featuring a rear-drive hybrid assembly. On the other hand, the electric-only version provides a driving range exceeding 600 kilometers, with a maximum charging power of 166kW.
Inside the new car, the interior design follows a minimalist concept. The prominent 15.6-inch central control large screen, equipped with Denza Link ultra-intelligent interaction, catches the eye along with the 10.25-inch full LCD instrument display. The crystal shift knob and surrounding piano paint create a luxurious atmosphere. The car also offers a multitude of buttons, including trunk lift, assisted driving, driving mode, side sliding door opening, and front windshield defogging, conveniently placed for user operation. The rear of the vehicle provides a storage space with a lid. Moreover, the front seats are designed with comfortable white leather and an irregular diamond pattern, adding to the overall appeal.
