Irv Seaver was where I was going to buy my bike until I heard rumors that Honda was going to come out with a new Africa Twin. I've loved the Africa Twin since I was a boy growing up in Africa (and i'm a twin) seeing these tall beard, invariably unwashed men riding through Africa, from Cape Town to Cairo. They, to me, were the last of the great adventurers, and ten year old to teenage me vowed to be like them one day. I waited nearly 2 years for that bike to come out, and bought two more (1st was totalled in a wreck by someone, and I was rear ended on the second one.) I do my own version of a RTW trip that I call "Around The World In The USA!" But they (Irv Seaver) have a great reputation for a reason. Keep the rubber side down.

What cylinder head protectors are those? Do you like them better than the old plates. What skid plate is that? In your experience do you hit many obstacles that warrants upgrading the stock skid? Thank you

I got the cylinder heads from Amazon, the skid plate is AltRider. Yes those accessories are needed if you’re going to be off-roading.

What the ?? I am in Norcal and always in Orange County in La because of my daughter college. I will stop by and take a look. I had several BMW bikes and currently a K1600. I used to have a 2016 GSA. I miss it alot. Thanks for sharing video. BTW is there some vaseline in there, haha.

I improvised that sticker, it’s for the triple black GS and it goes near the headlight panel. Instead I put it on the swing arm.
