you know its okay to take 20 year olds as trainees. hybe labels japan debuted k and fuma when they were 25 and 24 respectively and thats such a positive message. even seokjin thinks that these days labels are taking in too many young trainees.

Lol kpop companies have long given up on that and I could cry. Yes they need a few years of training but I don't wanna see 14 year olds...I wanna see people my age, in their twenties. For women it's even worse I can tell you (I'm a gg stan). But don't expect anyone born before ~2003 anymore the next years haha

20 is when they debut as adults but training starts very early. Some train for a decade. If u start training at 20 n debut at 30, your career will end before it start. Every pro athletes start their training in their early teens or even before that. By 17 they are already playing premiere leagues. No one starts training at 20. For med college also aspirants starts preparing at high school n take classes geared towards STEM. 20 is too late to start training for something u want to persue passionately especially in idol industry. Udk when u get to debut. Might never get picked

@@HaerinsavocadoThey did, it was last year Hybe x Geffen (global auditions) and the 20 selected trainees will be released this 1st September as the official survival show. You can check for more auditions, it happens every year, and Hybe has lots of small companies in it so you have to follow and get up to dates info abt auditions, Hybe recently has some small audition in US, Europe and Southeast Asia. You can check it out❤.
