i recently came back to bw and thought i was just facing better players whenever i got to a double digit ws other than the blatant cheaters. downloaded a mod (technically making myself a cheater) that showed the cps of my opponent and noticed there were some guys getting up to a consistent 75 or so while fighting me and suddenly didn’t feel so bad. bedwars is practically unplayable at this point

The worst hopper I've faced this year is one who's nuker didn't work, but my party was on a 60 winstreak and one of the party members was 80 fkdr so we were glad his nuker did not work.

I can understand its demotivating but its still one of the best Bedwars content you can find in 2024! (Your channel is so underated for such good content btw)

I once queued for the first time in months on hypixel with a friend who hadnt played in 4 months and he had a 40 ws in duos. We got sniped our first game and instantly got off

this is the perfect reason of why imma quit bedwars and mc when i hit 1000 stars, luckily i only have abt 50 stars to go.

I have an idea that might work to help this problem. Snipers mostly target winstreaks and people with high stats. They also get banned eventually if you report them, although not instantly as we would like. So my idea is to just reset the stats from games with hackers in them + restore win streaks, when they get banned. Either for the whole game or for all those that reported. I dont see how this wouldnt destroy most of the incentive to snipe, and the entire process can be made automatic, all it relies on is the hackers eventually being banned. Just proof it can be made automatically: At the start of each game, save all stats for everyone in the game (stats1). After the game is over, save all stats again (stats2). The stats from the game would be game_stats=stats2-stats1, which can be stored until the report is looked at together with the win streak and number of losses from stats1. When the hacker is caught, simply subtract game_stats from the current stats, and check if they have taken any more losses since the report was made. If they haven't, simply add the previous winstreak to the current one. If they have, keep the winstreak as is. None of this would require a lot of storage compared to what they already store, it would be a bunch of numbers saved temporarily. They already save all games up to 3 days, which includes positioning, inventory, health of all players for all ticks of each game. What I'm suggesting is nothing compared to this. This won't completely fix the cheating/sniping problem, but you could get your ws and stats back when you get blatantly hacked on. Legit snipers and closet cheaters would still be a problem, but at least they are possible to fight.

Yeah bedwars is basically anarchy now.. And hypixel is doing little to nothing about this gamemode and for the community in general. Btw the new update can be finished in 12 hours in a row, so just the half of a single day. Personally I finished it in 14 hours. So don't tell me hypixel is helping the player base with their update.

I literally played one bw game the other day and my first rush was bhopping but he was so bad i traded hits and could’ve won. I spectated the whole game and was being toxic, even though he’s one of the worst cheaters i’ve seen
