    You guys really love this frame… nice review… would it fit an all court 4.0 level player… Also, how would the VCore 98 or Shift 300 compare? Ciao, John

    Nice playtest, how'd you say this compares to the Speed MP and Gravity Pro? I'm cross-shopping between those and the regular aero. Thanks!

    Hello Chris, Wow, those two frames are quite different I would have to say. depending on what your looking for both of those racquets are great. The Head Gravity Pro is going to be on your much softer side, with more control and plowthrough. The Head Speed MP is going to give you alot more power along with a higher launch angle over the new with a slightly stiffer feel. The regular aero is kind of in between.. the aero 2023 has the same 16x19 string pattern as the Speed MP but the milling is a little bit denser giving you that little bit of extra control, not as much as the gravity pro. As for the stiffness of the frame, that is right in the middle also. I find that the Gravity pro is alot more plush than the aero, and I found that the aero 2023 played softer than the Head speed MP - Richard

    I also use VS. Any difference? Heard the new 98 had less spin and power potential but increase in control. Is that true?

    Nice review! How would you say this compares with VCORE 95 2023? I am looking for spin and control and my current racquet is the Pure AERO 100 2019, which I find wild and unpredictable some times. Thank you very much for your reviews.

    How does this compare to the current Pure Strike 98 16/19, does the 16/20 string pattern provide better control and as the stiffness rating is lower than the PS would it be more arm friendly, lol or its a PA and stiff.

    Hello Cameron, Comparing the Aero 98 to the Pure strike 98, the aero 98 has more control for sure. the extra cross i find just tightens up the string bed just enough to give you that extra control and slightly lower launch angle. I wouldnt say its the most arm friendly but if you were to compare the racquet to the previous generation Pure Aero VS and the 2019 Pure aero it will feel softer than those two frames upon impact. - Richard

    This is the review that convinced me to try them. kzread.info/dash/bejne/e35ssdazctiedqQ.html I'm 7 hours in to hitting with my first set and have had the same experience with snapback. They feel fairly grippy and crisp to me too. I have them at 52.

    Hello Christian, For this particular playtest, we had used Head Hawk Touch 17. Hawk Touch is a crisper more low powered Poly, that provides you with a very responsive stringbed. - Richard

    Hello there, That is honestly a tough one.. But I would have to say that for my game personally I would prefer the Aero 98. I just found that the racquet had fit my style of play better and completed my swing more than the Pro Staff 97V14 did. Although I loved how crisp and stable the V14 played, I just really enjoyed how much plow through, racquethead speed and Extra rpms and net clearance the Aero 98 had given me. They are both really good choices but it really just depends on what kind of player and what you prioritize in a frame. - Richard

    Hi there, how you compare the Pure Aero 98 with the VCORE 100 V7. Which one is more versatile? And wich one give u more confidence in a real match?

  • @RacquetGuys

    Hello Michael, Without a doubt I would go with the Aero 98 in a real match. The smaller 98sq" headsize pair with the 16x20 string pattern works wonders for me. I prefer the stiffer feel of the 98, since I prefer a more responsive string bed. Iv been told that the ball I am hitting with the Aero 98 is the heaviest out of all the racquets iv playtested other than with the Origin. - Richard

    How does it compare to the PS97v14 in terms of power, control, and comfort?

  • @RacquetGuys

    @RacquetGuys

    Жыл бұрын

    Hello Jorge, I find that the PS97 V14 has alot more control than the aero 98. The overall feel of the pro staff plays alot more solid and stable feeling that the Aero 98. Where the Aero 98 does shine over the PS is in the softness of the frame, and the amount of power and spin the frame has to offer. - Richard
