I lost my Audi Q5 when it got totalled in a car crash Feb 22. The crash was no fault of mine, and thankfully nothing happened to me except for small injuries, but unfortunately, the Q5 got totalled. The market was crazy then and I had to move to a different brand. This video reminds me how much I loved the Audi. Can’t wait to get back to the brand 👍

Agree on all points. We have a 21 q5 prestige and a 23 sq5. Zero reliability issues thus far. Great daily. The dual clutch for the 45 TFSI is one of the best in this segment. Better than the ZF in the sq5. Zero complaints.

same I have a prestige sportback, 2 and half years old with 31k miles, 0 issues, I do maintenance every 7000 miles to ensure reliability

New to your channel and love your review! I bought a pre-owned Q5 about 6 months ago and I truly love it. I had an X5 for years and I love my car so much more. Question..I cannot how to unprogram the garage door opener and program it for my door. Same with the memory setting for the seat. I've watched a bunch of videos and even had a locksmith come out to no avail. If you or anyone might have some info I'd greatly appreciate it. Glad I found your channel!

It may be old but it’s still one over the best luxury mid sized suvs in the segment. BMW dash design is wack (what happened to good old fashioned analog style gauges? To each his own). Lexus styling is meh and some of the infotainment interface is wonky. Volvo infotainment. Yikes lol. Audi sticks to its design. Simple, clean, and functional design. Yes, I’ve driven all the other cars.

Bring back the TDI

I like the volume knob placement but I would rather have the controller back like in Mazdas and BMWs.

I think that with that one, they should've taken it a notch a bit. Audi has been stuck in a wheel and should get into the 21st century. I personally own the new gen Q3 and I prefer how the interior looks better than the Q5, however I personally think that in terms of interior Mercedes and BMW are currently superior. In terms of exterior, Audi is still my fav.

What I strongly dislike with Audi, Benz & BMW is that stupid hump in the second row - I understand on Sedans that its for the driveshaft - but I would think that the SUV ride height would help alleievate that second-row hump (where the middle passenger would sit) Essentially these cars are 4-passenger vehicles (similar to their sedan counterparts)

Consider a Lexus SUV perhaps

The sport back version is such a space killer, if you go out for a dinner with friends and if you need a baby seat and the stroller in the back it's completely useless.... the normal version is much better, the sport back is just crap.

Nah, audi shouldn’t be compared with a normal brand like Volkswagen. Audi is true LUXURY, it should be compared with Porsche Macan or Maserati Grecale. Tiguan should be compared with Toyota venza, Honda crv maybe even Alfa Romeo Stelvio and bmw x3 m40i ( I had a 2020 stelvio in grey it sucked, very unreliable and not even luxury. At first I bought it because it was fun and cheap (50k) but it is not a luxury vehicle and I understand why it was at that price. (In 2022, I bought a x3 m60i in black(67k) with options and it was the worst , not only unreliable but none of the buttons work, it’s a 2022 and it still have those cd players 💀.) I’m thinking about getting the new glc 43 or something else. I thought about an audi q5 or q3 but it’s too expensive,q3 starts at 81k while q5 starts at 99k. My parents have a q4 etron and it’s rly luxury, they also have a q8 etron but that’s way out budget , q8 etron starts at 120k. I can get a cayenne gts for same price. So I’m looking for a glc 43 prob

I currently have one of these as a loaner as my daily driver 2023 subaru outback is in the shop for being rear ended. I have been a little disappointed by the interior build quality as it is definitely below my wifes BMW i4. The bmw interior is a cut above in quality materials and lack of scratchy black plastic the q5 has all over the interior. I was also surprised at how small the interior is compared to my outback. The trunk space is noticeably smaller and i am unable to put a rear facing car seat in the back seat without hitting my seat and i am only 5'10". I do like the responsiveness of the screen and the feel of the steering wheel. The sound system is pretty nice and the switch controls and knobs are very satisfying. Sometimes i find in stop and go traffic the transmission gets stuck and i end up rolling backwards on a hill and have to let off the gas and reengage. The back up camera and sensors are also hyper sensitive, they will beep at anything. I prefer subarus Eye Sight system over Audi's safety features. I would Definitely take an x3 over this.

Audis are good as long as you don’t have to fix anything. Very expensive. Ding in the windshield $2k. Also wish the steering was heavier. Too light. I guess it’s great if coming from a Japanese car.

That interior is so outdated..

There's no one who could do more to make this vehicle interesting but a white Q5 45, no matter how good it is in every day use, has to be the most boring car review this year from you guys.
