    I recently bought the GT1. I got it at a good price. I was thinking of returning it bc the range in sport/race mode is around 19 miles. I wanted something with more range at high speed. Another thing i am not a fan of, is the size of the GT1. Its a big big. I really like the Apollo pro. I think it looks better than the GT1, its smaller, faster, and more range. I am not a fan of the price though. At 4k its way more than i was interested in spending on a scooter. Never thought id spend more than 2k for a scooter. Your english is fine. Yeah I think @ 4k it should b disc breaks.

    I thought the same thing when I heard the price. It’s a nice scooter, but the brakes, the price, and the lack of innovation in some areas of the design made me hesitant to buy this. I want to wait and see if they don’t drop the price. I was even thinking about getting that Hollyburn that you reviewed but that’s a pricey scooter, maybe a little too pricey for me. Once I get to almost 10K I wonder if I shouldn’t just get a Motorcycle, lol

    I got my Thunder 2 last year, I like that they changed the folding clamp on the Thunder 3, but it's not enough to get me to upgrade yet. The Apollo will probably be a decent scooter, but not at $4,000. Are they targeting the speed heads on scooters (the Apollo isn't fast enough), or are they trying to cater to the urban commuter (the Apollo isn't "iPhone" enough) with a scooter that can keep up in traffic? They need to pick a lane and focus on that, because catering to both will make a scooter that is decent, but never the best at anything, and certainly not for $4000. For $3300 someone could get a Dualtron City which has large wheels and a swappable battery, and probably a smoother ride because of the wheels. Let's not forget that all these companies are going to be launching new scooters all summer, and Apollo might be beat before they even get to the final iteration of the design. I've got an Erexx #6 and a seat in the mail for my Thunder 2, I'm set. Subscribed!

    Yeah, no way I'm buying the dualtron Thunder 3 because of those upgrades, I commend them for the improvements, but not work spending another 4k. In my opinion, they need to make all the Upgraded parts available for purchase for the older Dualtron Thunders. Back to the Apollo, I agree that it's definitely not worth 4k, especially with all the other options available in the market. Dualtron city is definitely more practical than Apollo pro at that price point.

    The funny thing is if you shop smart for $4000 you can actually buy one of each lol. A 50mph+ scooter set you back around $3000 and a small folding commuter scooter (ninebot g30/f64/g65) is about $1000

    Why are you making it sound like Apollo discovered something new? Most electric scooters are powered by the same setup - battery, controller, motor, trigger, lights, etc. After years of owning and working on electric scooters myself, I can honestly give feedback based on my experience with similar scooters. It's like telling someone who owns and works on Bugattis that they can't talk about a new Honda Civic 🤦🏾‍♂️

    @@KiziEwheels youre a spec head, thats the reason why you cant comprehend whats goin on here. There ARE no other scooters like the 2023 Pro. Right now youre focused on top speed and range and numbers on a sheet because youre comfy with that. This scooter takes all that, crunches the numbers on actual AVERAGE rider top speeds (even with a poterntial 60MPH) and what people are REALLY looking for. most people dont care about 40MPH kuz they mostly go 25. You like all the other spec head morons completely miss the point on whats happening in the scooter industry right now. This is a shift that makes all your "bugatti" (LOL) experience look like youve been going the wrong way this entire time. This scooter changes everything about user experience which is completely absent from anything you care to claim to be on the level of a supercar. Apollo DID and is DOING something new. GTFO!

    I'm sorry but it's not really a review until you actually have one to test out. You have no more idea than the everage Joe. I won't say how and why but I was fortunate enough to test drive a Pro V6 (chrome) for a week. This thing look waaayyy better in real life than any video or photos suggest. It's build like a tank. That scooter is not for everyone tho it's bigger and longer than the everage scooter and 100 lbs. Braking performance is not a concern here, the drum are sealed, good for wet riding and no rubing disc noise. You can't review something that is not even out yet bro. As for acceleration it outpace the Apollo Phantom 60v and for top speed its 75 -80 kmh wich is boderline safe without a steering damper. I had absolutely no issue merging with traffic and passing "slow" people. I even rode it on the track during the Canadian formula 1 GP, I understand the price is expensive but part of it is the weather sealing , the GPS/IOT and battery/BMS. I ran it in big rain and ran trough puddles full speed and those fenders are superb. The regen braking is game changing.

    I respectfully disagree. While I understand your perspective, it's important to consider that testing a product can lead to personal bias. With my experience owning multiple electric scooters across different classes, including one with drum brakes, I believe I have a solid foundation to assess the specifications offered by the Apollo Pro. My recent video discussing why I regret buying the Segway GT 2 sheds light on this. I have a lot of experience with the specs that Apollo Pro is offering, so I don't need to buy the scooter to actually give honest feedback. Sometimes, when you actually buy oe test the product, you can become biased in your views (keyword: can). I think the Apollo Pro is a great scooter, and I appreciate the effort Apollo is putting into it but its not worth 4K. I appreciate your feedback, though.

    @@KiziEwheels still it's not a review, and untill you actually test drive it won't be and you can't call any scooter equal by spec sheets. You have no idea how well the regen works on the Pro, it does not even compare to my Phantom V3, the drum brakes makes perfect sense, having a dedicated regen "throttle" you totally forget your mechanical brakes except in emergency situations and then both works together. Disc brakes requires constant ajustements and maintenance. For me it's perfect like that. If all that matters is acceleration and top speed the Pro is not the scooter for that. The Pro is cattered to the serious all weather commuter that use a scooter as a car replacement rather than the adrenaline junky. It's one of the rare scooter with a certified IP 66 rating.

  • @KiziEwheels

    @KiziEwheels

    If it truly caters to commuters, then I'm right. No commuter wants to pay 4k for an electric scooter; that's the price of a used car. The Apollo Pro has a nice design, but it's not rare. That's why it's important to familiarize yourself with other brands available out there. Many companies now claim their electric scooters are IP66 waterproof, but when I asked if the warranty covers accidental water damage to the electric components, they start telling stories. It's amusing. Apollo can continue sending people to my platform to argue semantics, but it only raises doubts about their product in my mind. If they have an issue with people providing honest, unpaid reviews about their product, then we have a problem.

    @@KiziEwheelsest assured i'm not on Apollo's payroll and I doubt they care about youtubers with 1.4k subs much, but calling your video a review when it's not only hurt your credibility rather than the product or Apollo's. I get it , the price offends you and I mentioned why it is expensive and also you have to consider that it uses their own designed parts wich increase cost even more. I myself hesitated between a Teverun Fighter Supreme but settled for the Pro because I got it for $2800 as a beta tester and live near a service center.

    They definitely care, and we both know it. That's precisely why you are here, and I appreciate it. Lol, now you're attacking my subscribers. It's not about having a larger subscriber base; it's about ensuring that my fellow electric scooter riders receive a fair deal. Asking everyday commuters to pay 4k for that electric scooter is a significant amount of money. Apollo is aware of this too. It should be priced more reasonably, around $1700 to $2780, not 4k. In terms of design, the Segway GT1 and GT2 is more unique compared to the Apollo Pro. Wow I wrote all this before seeing the price you got it for.

    The more I watch this review, the more I want a Hollyburn. I actually much prefer a thinner deck (size 10.5 shoes) & portability/weight. I want to be able to put my scooter in my car's back seat (like I can easily with my Phantom 2023), but as a car replacement, the Hollyburn seems better. You're one of very few people who spread the critically important "warning" about regen brakes: ** Regen braking is ALMOST USELESS for the first 20ft or so of high-speed emergency stops ** I have the regen brakes on my Phantom & I think they're THE best thing outside of IP66 rating, to be added to any scooter. I'm in love with it. I use it 99.999% of the time when braking for PLANNED STOPS. Like, ok, stop sign ahead in about 30ft, you can use the incremental pull of the Regen brakes to stop a LOT later, a lot quieter, smoother, without skidding (except on gravel, the back wheel will lock up) and without any wear on the regular brakes. Regen braking will stop you even harder than regular brakes - but again, only if you plan the stop. Once you get used to the Regen brakes, they're your best friend. Crank the Regen up to 10 & leave it there. Takes a good 60-100miles to get totally used to them. I installed hydraulics on my Phantom because of the option to do emergency stops. Regen on an emergency stop: 00----------00011223334447778 (*hits pedestrian) Hydraulics on a planned stop: 00------------77788899999(*yells at pedestrian) (* some guy on a Hollyburn goes by at 100km/h)
