in his live, chan talked about how his speech was cringe and actually some stays were calling it cringe, too. but i disagree. as someone whom music has saved, so many times, and who has been making music since i was a child, he spoke nothing but the truth. it was cheesy, of course, speeches like this are impossible not to make cheesy. but my favourite quote is "music is what powehouses us through hell", and really, i know that is true. i used to struggle so much with depression and anxiety, and i didn't even have the motivation to make music myself anymore. but a little more than two years ago now, stray kids (and some other kpop groups) came into my life and changed it around. of course, there were other factors like my workplace changing and that i moved and all, but stray kids played a major part in pulling me out of my depression. i went through my own personal hell, and music is what got me through it. not my own, but stray kids'. and now that i'm better, whenever i start feeling anxious or have many doubts about myself, i make music. skz' music pulled me out of my personal hell and now i can make it myself again, and even make myself and others happy with it. music can truly get you through hell.
