yeji stopped her high note too bec she was about to drop a tear and then the whole midzy crowd that showed the love via that recording coincidentally carried everything after yeji stopped singing.. while the whole members were about to tear up and just sang quietly... the true definition of trust. literally.

thanks for uploading always with the subs 😄 Really it helped me connect with them more. They are hilarious, talented and I love them but the subs made me understand them personality wise too. They will be there early next year. You can count on it. After the US leg of the world tour completes, they will visit Japan and Asia, same countries from the showcase tour.

No covid restrictions did not permit singing or shouting. Some of the crowd sent in their recording to be used.

@@mckinleykingbird6442 Because they had to record it at home and send it in, they went through the trouble of recording it and preparing in advance as a surprise for ITZY. That's more effort and more touching than a group of people singing together in front of you.. The extra effort those MIDZY put in to give a gift to ITZY is especially touching.

@@mckinleykingbird6442 Actually it makes perfect sense. Masks are not 100% effective and everytime you open your mouth to talk or worse shout or sing you project germs along with your voice. So to have in person live events fans have to give up singing, shouting, and verbal cheering or they can't attend.. SO it does make health safety sense to not allow singing or cheering even with masks. Because 5-6% is still a risk not worth taking multiplied by thousands of people. I was there, Korean's take these rules seriously, no one was signing or shouting or cheering.. They respected the rules. Anyone who did not would have been heard and removed by the hundreds of ushers they had to enforce the rules.

@@mckinleykingbird6442 SIMPLE Covid restrictions for in person attendance have been reduced. It is NOT that hard to understand. When the fan meeting happened social distancing and mask requirements were in FULL enforcement here in Korea. RECENTLY they have been reduced, masks are still required indoors, but in person attendance has been increased and eating in movie theatres is now allowed again, as is cheering at events. I don't get your hostile attitude. If you don't like the channel simply move on.

Both. It is very common for kpop artists to lay a live vocal track (non studio version) for a concert or live stage either during the rehearsal or a day or two before, especially if its being broadcast on TV or the web. The reason being the broadcaster does not want any technical difficulties to effect the quality of the broadcast(like mic pack or inner ear or wardrobe malfunction that could disrupt the artists singing). So for beyond live you heard a pre-recorded LIVE audio track not a studio production. If you were live there, the mics we on, the backing track was at a low volume and you heard ITZY singing live. So the answer is both. depending on how you watched it.

@@ITZYFAN2 thank you for the lenghty answer. I know about the live tracks that run underneath the live performance. I'm a Once, they do it all the time. I was just curious about the "choir" or the fans singing along. Was that a prerecording too? Since it seemed like their in ears picked it up and the sound quality seemed too crisp for a live "sing along", if you know what I mean. 😊 So since you were there, were the Midzys actually singing or was it pre recorded singing as well? Thank you 😊

@Nico V There was a call out from JYP to the fans who are going to attend or watch online, to record themselves either audio or video singing MIDZY. They had a period of time for submitting their voices or videos. I guess the videos were too hard to secure image rights so they scrapped that and went with audio. Some of the voices were from people who attended in person, and some were from people who watched via Beyond Live. That was a pre-recorded and edited track, which had the fan voices layered beautifully. I did not submit anything as I can not sing well. There was NO singing live as COVID restrictions on live events prohibits, singing or shouting. No standing was permitted either. Some people broke the rules here and there but there were many ushers and officials to tell them to sit down.
