Man, I love this bike. It’s my first, bought it last October, and I haven’t stopped smiling. Irish winter weather has been so much fun! Only weather I haven’t ridden in is ice, but then, that’s me being an older rider with a sensible head. It is a fast bike. It’s a very capable bike too, enjoy!

Look into the Two Brothers S1R. Sounds incredible

I have the same exact bike. Absolutely love the Cyan storm paint. The MT-07 is a bike that's easy to ride, engine is overflowing with character and can get genuinely fast if you WOT in the first 3 gears "if the front wheel stays down" most people that have negative things to say or think it's a beginners bike are comparing it to bikes double the price. The suspension is a little bouncy but you have to understand it's not trying to be a track prepped race bike, it's a simple road bike that just makes you enjoy motorcycling!

Yeah exactly, it’s supposed to be a bike ride around town and on regular streets. I don’t know why people would complain about the suspension when it’s not designed to be a race bike. You don’t buy an MT 07 for that

This is why I bought mine. I just needed a little more excitement. Nothing too crazy. Been there done that.

Exactly how I break in my bikes, no thrashing, no labouring, just normal riding.

Just got mine before winter came so I only got 8-10 rides in so cant wait for all this snow to melt and get warmer haha!

You can change the switch gear for the horn - turn signal. Do a search on the forums, R3 and other switch gear has normal position. Madstad makes a great windscreen for MT-07

on the instrument cluster...i like the 2022 a LOT more than the 2023 or the 2024...I think they're both WAY too BIG....i watched the entire video...& i subscribed....

I bought one new , the icon blue in August 22 , quite like the grey with mint wheels , anyway happy with purchase, thinking of adding a arrow thunder exhaust soon to give better looks , sound .

i agree w/ you on the suspension....i try to not go into corners real fast, the MT07 isn't designed for that.....some ppl complain about it but not me...i don't expect perfection.....for what i paid, like what you said....It's so much fun.....Well worth it....I'm not going to complain about anything on this bike....

Right?! My MT-07 is my favorite bike right now. My poor KLR and V-Strom haven’t gotten as much attention as they usual do because I’d rather jump on the MT-07. 😂

this just confirmed my love for the bike. Put a deposit on mine last thursday

in Southern Ohio on 4-15-2022 i put down 500.oo on an Icon Blue MT07, & it arrived on 8-05-2022....total paid was 9,600.xx & i was VERY happy.....i paid cash....but had to wait 3 1/2 months to get it.....SMH...almost all summer...BUT....i first saw this bike on KZread several years ago & i wanted it THEN.....But i told myself NO...not yet....i need more cash.....first day i brought it home i put on a 950.oo Corbin seat & sissy bar....the Corbin seat is thicker, & looks cool AF, but still, i ride this bike for 1-2 hrs at a time.....it's not a cruiser...Butt still gets sore...

4:00 It's been upper 40's all winter long so far here in NY. freaky. Actually able to ride my bike, albeit with wool on and a neck gaiter.

I really like the mt07, but after trying the new Hornet. I’m leaning towards the Hornet, it’s really fast compared to the mt07, and comfort is much better. But it definitely looses in looks..I hate the look of the Hornet, but love the look of the mt07

The dealers in my area (with taxes and fees) are quoting $10,179 out the door. Base price is $8200. I heard the dealers are not very negotiable on the MT07 is because they sell like hot cakes.

They're not negotiable about any bike. I'm also an old man almost 50 but I got my first bike MT-03 and I paid almost 2k over the base price , forget about any negotiations nowadays.

I just picked up a 2022 MT07 for about $6500 (including $500 of accessories, urban pack). I was lucky to find it as the dealer was selling it with 307 miles on it, first service done, almost $1000 off because it was "last years model". In reality they said the only difference between the '22 and '23 bikes is that the '23 has bluetooth connectivity on the dash. But aesthetically and mechanically they're the same.

They are not comfortable, I´ve driven a 2023 mt07 alot and my friend has a 2018 mt07, z650 is a bit more comfortable but not by alot.

i'd also swap out the front blinkers for TST Angel eyes/halo, w/ the Blue running lights....it's only like 80.00 ....There's a video on KZread on how to do it....

It’s really hard for me to get out of my head the need for the top end speed. I want a quick and nimble daily commuter and the 07 looks perfect. But the urge to upgrade to the 09 is there even though I don’t want or need a more sporty bike. I want to have a good time riding and it sounds like the 07 is it.

There’s no better commuter out there in terms of being quick and nimble. The MT-07 is always my first choice for commuting to work and back. Except in the winter time, when I usually ride my V-Strom 1000 due to the heated grips and tall windscreen.

The dealers here in the Miami area want 11k. U did good. Enjoy the bike my man.

Yeah if I would've bought the bike from the first dealer it would've been close to 11K as well. The dealers know they have you by the 🍒 with these bikes.

i had no idea about the gas tank .....haha i never even thought about it.... Back in 1985 i paid 550.oo for a 1970 650 BSA Lightning....had a nice big chrome tank...the guy who owed it had it out in his yard under a tree, had just cleaned it up & one of his kids was playing on it & knocked it over & made a BIG dent in the side of the tank.....he was so mad he said, i'm selling the bike...!!1 F8ck this shit..!!! so he sold it to a guy i knew, then i bought it from him....that bike looked nice & w/ a short chrome pipe, it sounded like a small Harley but it had poor power....the MT07 just BLOWS it away.... MT07 is a perfect bike IMO....for shorter commutes...

What do you think about the new R7? They have the same engine but i like the design a little bit more

Tough question, but I would say the MT-07. The seat height on the MT is more accommodating than the KLR, which is pretty tall. Just don’t snatch that throttle on the MT-07 as a new rider, it’s a little rocket ship.

Would yall recommend this bike for 70% freeway usage/30% street? Mostly would be a commuter bike to work, and random trips to the twisty’s. Freeway speeds would generally be 80-85MPH for 30-40 min each way to and from work. Was thinking maybe a MT-09 might be a bit better, due to mostly freeway usage?

The only potential issue that you may have is wind. If you don’t mind not having a windshield, it’s a great freeway bike.

I would consider if it had cruise control. You have to goto the MT-09 for cruise

Cruise would be awesome, but for what I use my MT-07 for (around town, commuting to work) it isn’t a deal-breaker.

I've done the same thing with the horn. I always feel like everyone thinks I'm being a jerk 🤣🤣🤣

Mine only gets hot while in stop-and-go traffic. The fan kicks on at around 220 degrees and all is well.

What job do you have to own and insure 5 vehicles if u dont mind my asking?

Maybe a Tracer 7 would have been better. Roughly the same bike with wind protection and luggage.

I have no doubt that your KLR would serve your commuting needs just "kaaah-leee"....

be careful i bought that same bike and within 2 weeks had 5k in parts on the way its addicting.

You just need to put the search work in, there are many dealers that don't charge all the B@@ fees when purchasing. Tri-County Honda in Petersburg, WV charged me MSRP + $200 out the door with a certificate of origin in my hand for my last 2 rides. I came back and did tax, tags, an title in my state.

As soon as I legally force harley davidson to buy my piece of shit pan america back I'm getting the mt07. My HDPA has had 4 instances of check engine lights, stalling out, limp mode and I've only made one payment on it so far.

@@MCraven10 they refused the buyback. So I am forced to keep riding it and keep taking it to service. I am borrowing my buddy's go pro so I can get the issue on camera. Just waiting on the helmet mount to show up. Fuck Harley. I will never ever ever buy a Harley again and I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know does either.
