I have owned my 2022 WRX for almost 1 year ( 6 days from it). I have used it for work, for play, and everything in between. The 2022 WRX has been tuned for 15000 miles and has done nothing but surprise and amaze me. The car has taken everything ive thrown at it from grocery days, track days, autocross, taking my daughter to school. The 2022 WRX is incredibly versatile and makes for a great tuner and daily driver!

Mine is almost at 23k and no issues yet. I love the car! And for some reason all the people over 30 say not to paint match the side skirts. For some weird reason they think is better looking, and for some even more weird reason I don’t disagree anymore 😂

That full-turn noise is something I brought up to my tuner and he said it's just the chassis when the car is lowered. It happened with my VA and they dubbed it the "VA creak," so all-in-all that noise isn't something you need to worry about!

I'm in the dead center of Cali and love the AWD. The amount of power you can put to the road while cornering is amazing. Bought my '22 after taking a 270° downhill corkscrew, hadn't experienced anything like it before. Neither had the sales guy I guess, he felt the need to tell me he had a wife and daughter at home right after we merged...

I had the 08-17 sti Brembos on my VA and I wish I never wasted time/money on getting upgraded OEM pads/rotors in hindsight. I used Hawk ceramics and they were miles better than any setup I could work wit the OEM calipers. But when I used to track my VA a little bit and I found Hawk hp+ the best pads in terms of performance on the track but my god they were insanely loud as a street pad. I'm getting VDR results in probably 3 days. Be over 400/400 tuner says. Torque limited. Intake, exhaust, Cobb TMIC. That's it for power beside pump. But pump is just really to run better quality fuel and convenience. Running fuel-it pump and straight E85. Expecting over 400/400. Torque is limited (conservative, but will never blow up if I'm not stupid) and could easily be 450. Corbin Johnson in the GOAT 🐐.

I want to know what people are making with the Cobb 93 stage 1 map with intake, catback, bov, and intercooler. Only reason I ask is cause I saw Cobb post something about “stage 2” but I’m confused if that’s a stage 2 map with their mods or their “stage 2 package” with the stage 1 map. Just something I was wondering if anyone can clarify. I personally have basic bolt ons, 1300 mile with a Cobb 93 stage 1 map. I basically bolted on all my parts and then flashed the car. I have no clue what kind of power I’m making with the bolt ons. But I also wonder what a stock with 93 stage 1 vrs a basic bolt on 93 stage 1 map difference would be. 🤔 so many questions

So the Cobb stage 1 is actually just a tune now. Stage 2 for them is the intake pipe, charge pipe and tmic. The stage 1 makes about 295whp(that's what I got from my dyno day). The stage 2 is about 325ish whp.

I haven't had to clean my oil pick up yet. Are you referring to rtv? I haven't had any issues. If anyone was gonna have issues because of RTV I promise, it be me 🤣

Oh yea the transmission needs a bit of love. With the brass bushing and shift plate the transmission is a new beast tbh

@@headreddedstepchild6177 It's okay if you have to do that. The suggestion they give is for if you're doing excessive speeding or drag racing or anything like that. There's never going to be a situation where you will be able to 100% wait for your car to be warm before you get on it. It's just not reasonable. You are completely fine.

dont forget about the GR corolla

The problem with the GR Corolla is it starts at 37k and it always has a markup. It's in a different class. I would put this with the type r and golf r (for performance and price). Realistically I feel like no one should buy a WRX GT. The value proposition isn't there. Even if you need an automatic the limited should be the highest you go.
