Both cars are from different generations, they changed the aero regulations after 2021

Yeah, I realized I failed to take time and point that out in the video. I felt I was running out of time to keep people interested. But I wanted to show both generations of real cars, and show where some of the new techniques could enhance the older gen car and where it couldn’t. Example the technique on the halo would be something that could have been done better like on the new W14. Halos haven’t changed in 5 years, unlike the car around them so the McLaren could’ve benefited from the newer technique. Missed opportunity, sometimes I regret assuming people won’t watch if I get too technical.

What do u think gonna be the next one? I saw a Aston Martin , is it possible but in scale 1:8? 🤔

That’s an excellent question. We had to wait 2 years between McLaren and the Mercedes. That allowed a lot of new parts and real car new features to make them different enough in look. Maybe we will get either Ferrari or Aston since Lego has licensing with both for 2026. 2026 will bring the next big change in F1, and Audi will join F1 too. So in 2026 we could even expect an Audi in that case.

Yes I know, I have the GTE. Just would be sweet to see a scarlet 1:8 f1 Ferrari!

They used to make f1 sets. I have a 2014 ferrari f1 car.
