As xc90 owner no complains lovely car spacious for 7 with space for bags minimal service cost with competition no regrets

Q7 is better

The XC90 is a unique proposition. A very complete package. Kudos Volvo!

It’s been a while since Autocar India made one of those “Clash of the Titans” video. Would love to see one featuring the BMW X5 vs Audi Q7 vs Volvo XC90 vs Mercedes Benz GLE and if any others are there in this segment go head to head with one another, competing for the spot of the King of SUVs. It’s been a while and a comparison test such as this would be amazing! I really hope the Autocar India team sees this comment! Pls like it if you guys end up seeing it! Would ask my fellow KZread users to like and comment on this one for better reach.

How is it better than a Q7🤣

Two types of forced inductions and an electric powertrain. You wouldn’t wanna own this after the warranty period😅 Way too much stuff to go wrong.

Volvo has promised only to make 2litre 4cylinder engines.

BMW x5 40i is a much better overall package imo

It's a bit overpriced. Volvo hadn't much updated the car and if we compare it to its rivals they have much more peppy and refined engines and 4 cylinder unit at 1cr ex showroom is too much when there is x7 40i which is a whole package just 15 lacks more.

It won't be an Autobiography if I have money, this takes heart.. n I'll love to have a RV on Volvo 9800 chassis .. 😉 better than buying a car.. you can just be comfortable in your space ...

We had an XC90 volvo rented during our 10 day trip in Georgia, we spend alot of time in the vehicle. We used both its specs the top trim and the mild hybrid one. The tech is good. But very very very uncomfortable car for a long trip. See the driving and all was good the way it drives the fast response and all that but very bad seats we tried all the adjustments possible in the front seats nothing worked. The back seat no comments. Not sure why the reviewers boast alot. A merc is a merc, the comfort is another range which a volvo can never meet.

That second row seat sure is small, especially in terms of thigh support.

Though i use my lambo URUS as a daily driver but its something diffrent in a XC90 on a long highway drive with family.

Commonsense tells XC90 recharge is the model to go in Indian market not this one. There is no real case for this model in India.

Finally someone with the same logical opinion.... This b6 is basically phev tech removed from t8.. T8 makes a lot more sense and is future proof plus the better performance.. Good to see a logical comment

None of these germans, swedish, italians or any luxury brand suv's comfort matches the comfort level of my toyota vellfire.

Ok, the only thing left is to earn enough to buy this car.

Chargers are used to produce more power from a smaller cc engine. To produce the same power without a charger, they need a bigger engine. A smaller cc engine with a charger will be fuel efficient than a naturally aspirated bigger engine to produce the same power.

Yes, if you have enough money to own one of them, then fuel shouldn’t be a problem

VOLVO XC90 this scandanavian carmaker is also a chinese carmaker as volvo is owned by chinese automobile company and it is better to go for MERCIDES GLS 600 not only a great ultra luxury SUV but also it has a lot of tech in it.

Do you know which car is considered as the Safest in World ? . . . . Its Volvo XC90. If you care more for tech than your Life...then leave this one ;)

Just 10kW of electric boost! Are you kidding me? Yet another petrol guzzling low torque to weight SUV. This space in India has become rather sad these days! Electric or diesel or nothing else to haul this much weight

Bmw x7 is an attaractive product in that range unfortunately the price of it has been hiked by almost 20 percent since covid. Base diesel comes with around 620 nm of torque.

It’s no BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne.Case closed.

I’d rather go with the new Q7,it’s sportier,rides better and offers better 2nd row comfort.

There is nothing in this vehicle worth 1cr. This is a confused vehicle for a confused buyer

Why to have Diesel in this car? It's noisy, it vibrates and makes you feel like you're driving a truck because of that truck like noise. Petrol is better for these cars, it's quiter, smooth, refined and vibration free.
