Wow going 170 at 2.5k RPM - very good gearbox!
We bought a last gen touran 2.0tdi years ago, and when we bought it i asked the salesmen what the top speed was and he told me 208, but i drove it to 220

Actually I have a 2021 Passat 150 TDI DSG and ordered a Touran same engine as next car due to 2 kids. But strangely it looks a lot slower than the Passat… but the weight difference isn’t that high. What is your experience in comparing? Also a lot people claim Wind noises but the Passat ist also Bad in that point. Could you also compare? Before I drove a BMW 5 series, so maybe I am a bit spoiled.

I own a 2020 model, its slower yes, you have to keep in mind that the car has a different shape and is less arrow dynamic then the passat. But all around its a very good car. Spacious, comfortable, ergonomic, economic

What do you call slow? What do you call bad (when it comes to wind noise)? How would you consider a car slow what runs 209 kph and accelerates in under 9 s to 100 kph? Are you going to break speed records with two kids on board? And even the wind generated noise... Listen to it in the video when it goes max speed - engine and tires are much more dominant than the wind is and all of them are far from being inacceptable.
