If you hold the lock button down long enough the windows will close, including the roof if it was open.

Thank you so much!!! I’m brand new to VW. I just picked up the 22’ SE R-Line Black edition and I’m obsessed to say the least. With these hidden features it just got that much better. Why didn’t dealership show me there features is the question lol

When I was getting my SEL-R line, btw I love the car, I was on a line to get the car, so the salesperson just showed me a picture and I took it. I didn't even see the actual car, I tested SE. a year ago salespeople did not have to do much to sell a car

Omg I’m sitting here shocked and I read the manual. Did I miss things or maybe these aren’t in there?! Thankful for your video. -one year with my Tiguan and still impressed with all its features, even more so now!

Great Video! Some of the features I learned by mistake lol, especially all windows down, I kept pressing the wrong button. The back camera cleaning is indeed a great feature, din't know that.

Great video. I learned few tricks on my VW MY21 R line. In Aus rolling up also works on lock key. Btw do you know how to rotate the 360 view on park mode. Mine it comes horizontally and feels wired 😵‍💫

Very Good Video!! I picked up my 2022 VW Tiguan, SEL R on New Years Eve. I love it!! My other was a 2018 VW Tiguan SEL and did not have all of the features this one has. I love having both power seats, and side mirrors that automatically fold in when I park and get out. My Mercedes always had that mirror feature which is very good for drive thru and pulling up to a mailbox. I love the German engineered vehicles they have a small turning radius and are so easy to park. My Salesman did not list all of these feature that this Video showed. Thank you for making the Video.

Hallo stimmt tigi echt tolles fahrzeug👌komm aus deutschland fahre auch jetzt einen aber normalen kein allcpace.leider ist mir aufgefallen das die älteren us tiguans deutlich schlechter ausgestatet waren wie unsere.mitlerweile haben die neuen auch schonn mehr drinne wie vorne an türen decko mit 30 fach ambientefarben hatt meiner sogar hinten.vorn auf amaturenbret ist bei unseren eine klappe zum zumachen draif bei euch leider offen.🙋‍♂️grüße auß deutschland maik tolles auto👌

Hello there, I hope you’re enjoying your V Tiguan and I want to use this opportunity to ask you your experience about V.Tiguan . I’m in between Toyota RAV4 and v.Tiguan I don’t know which to choose. Thank you.

Keep the close button after the mirrors fold on the key fold and will bring the windows up. My 2019 Tiguan does that. It has keyless entry btw.

Nice one mate. The full beam lighting is very useful to me as I hate having to turn it on and off when a car coming my way. I noticed the other night my blue full beam lights were on then on with an A but had no idea what it was. Glad you’ve explained that one! Thank you. Good vid. The lane assist thing I hate. I wish I could turn it off permanently but it’s set as default and have to turn it off every time I get in car. I’m edging toward the white lines on my right ( drive on left as in England) and the bloody steering wheel drags me back when I know I’m fine! Could cause me an accident. Is there anyway of keeping them off please? Think it’s auto lane assist. Cheers.

Thank you for this!!. I am actually waiting for my Highline RLine Tiguan. Ordered it in the same color!! I'm excited!! I knew about the rear view camera squirt option, but also I learned that power tailgate can be customized to how much it opens so if you have a low garage, it won't ding it!! Open the tailgate and bring it to the height you want, hold and press the tailgate button, wait for the chime and voila! That might be in the owners manual but I'm excited!!

I agree. This 'convenience' has been available on VW's since 2000. My old 2004 MK IV Golf had this feature.

Hello, great video. Could you please do a video on iq light? How to enable and disable glare-free high beam? Cornering light? And so on, Thanks

I liked the video, and everything was explained clearly but much too fast. Have a 2022 Tiguan SE-R line black. Really like it, but it has no navigation. Is the instrument cluster setting still available?

I think these sorts of get acquainted with the features videos are really helpful. The last time I bought a new car in 2015 it came with automatic door locks that sensed the presence of the key fob. I had never seen those before. When I tried to open the car it just opened. I assumed that when I walked away from the car taking the fob with me the car locked. That is not how it worked. You had to press the door handle for lock. So I had been leaving the car unlocked for two months. Then I saw a video....These little gotchas are mushrooming rapidly in cars today. I think one other category of things to watch out for you could mention in these videos would be features that require subscriptions or yearly fees.

With some VCDS tweaking, it's possible to open and close all windows and pano roof with your key fob. It is disabled for US spec. models for legal reasons. You'll be amazed how many features are available but disabled in these VW cars.

I was wondering if there was a way to modify the backup camera so when you put the vehicle in reverse, the 360 view automatically comes on. I know you can press the button once in reverse but didn’t know if there was a setting to always have come on automatically

I think videos like this are very useful, great job.

Any have suggestions for nice seat covers that fit good and not just universal ones ? I am in So Cal

I have to crappy version and only have 3 of these features but they were definitely something I didn't know. Now on to part 2 to see if my tiguan has any of those features!

You can close the windows with the key fob in close proximity by holding the button on the door in the 22’ SEL r line. Not sure about other models.

Great video, I have a 2021 vw Tiguan se, I don’t have the convenience features of the r line, but it sure beats the Jeep renegade I had

I had a 2018 uk spec tiguan sel 4motiin diesel and on the infotainment on the car menu's it had a page for turbo boost, power output, and a g force meter. I've now got a 2021 R line 200ps and I can find them Dials. Is it something that needs activing? Thanks

Just one note! It is not a cooling system to put the windows down, it is a emergency systeem if your car hits water you can hold the lock car button so all windows go down👍

Hi, I have recently bought a 2022 Tiguan EHybrid R-Line in the UK. It says IQ lights on the side but the high beam just goes on and off, VW have confirmed that the car is fitted with matrix LEDS. Do these need activated?
