    I was looking to buy Kanjo last season, based on this channel reviews and recomendations. Got a nice deal for Kendo and must say they are brilliant skies, very powerful and loving the speed. Agile as well... No need to charge with them, but when you do your clad you did 😊

    Would you say there’s a big jump in this years model vs the ‘21 model or other older versions? Or just a graphics update? Thanks!!

    The '21 and '22 models are the same, just different graphics. Older than that, the metal is used differently in the ski. Newer versions have a more precise feel and more vibration damping.

    Kanjo or deacon 84? I love carving and im pretty good at it. Id love to also ski off piste more though and i feel like this would be the better choice for a all in one ski

    Kanjo is more versatile, so if you're going off trail/off piste a good amount, that might be the better choice for you. The Deacon is more focused on carving and on tail/on piste performance. It's more responsive than the Kanjo when carving, but certainly not as versatile.

    I’m also trying to decide between the Kanjo and the Kendo. I’m am east coast VT skier. That likes to ski fast but want a ski that turns fast and is good in moguls. Any thoughts on those two skis.

    I find weight to be the biggest difference between them. The Kanjo feels much quicker, especially in bumps. Kendo feels heavier on your feet, so requires more skier input to get it pivot through tight trees or bumps. On the other hand, along with the heavier feel of the Kendo comes more power, edge grip, and vibration damping when skiing fast on firm snow.

    Hey team, would you say that the Kanjo 84 in 175cm (1590grams) is similar in feel to the atomic 86c in 176cm (I can't find the weight of the 176, however the 184 is 1700, so I guess 176 is around 1640 approx). Which of the two would be more front side focused, I love that they both are intermediate focused skis for cruisers types (what I am), and I'm just not sure if the 88mm width of the 86c is too wide for turns on piste (I'm in Europe, Swiss Alps). Appreciate ya feedback, cheers and thanks.

    You will get more stability and power out of the slightly heavier Kanjo while the Maverick has more of a light weight feel to it. Very quick and agile, it's awesome for skiers looking to master bumps and trees, but you're going to get a stronger carver out of the Kanjo. Have fun! SE

    What are other options in this intermediate, weekend skier category ? Anything from Nordica ?

  • @SkiEssentials

    @SkiEssentials

    Not much from Nordica in that category right now. Soul Rider 87 or Navigator 85 Ca would be the best options. Enforcers are all relatively heavy and generally not the best for intermediates.

    I ski the most of the time on piste but sometimes I wanna enjoy the deep snow like 70% Piste and 30% off piste. Do you think this is the right ski for Remix to buy?

    Highly concidering this! I'm 175cm and 76kg I've skied the Brahma 88 at 180 for 5 years. What length would you recommend?

    I'm 44yrs old 5'6 and 150lbs. I've been skiing for about 5 seasons about 20 days a year. Weekend warrior in Tahoe, and take a week or 2 vacation in Utah every year. I'm definitely still only an intermediate, I enjoy blue groomers and am pretty smooth in my turns but haven't gotten both skis way outside into a real carve yet. Looking to finally buy my first ski. Do you think this would be a decent choice? I'm focusing more on a Tahoe ski than Utah as I can always rent powder skies there.

    The Kanjo 84 has a surprising amount of snap and energy to it due to the fiberglass frame and metal underfoot. They're easy to use, but have a high-performance ceiling.

    Hey anybody……how would you compare this ski to the Kastle FX86 Ti? Thanks

  • @SkiEssentials

    @SkiEssentials

    Жыл бұрын

    Pretty fair comparison. I think the shovel of the Kastle is considerably more flexible than that of the Kanjo, putting a bit more emphasis on the precision of the Volkl versus the floatiness of the Kastle. We found the Kastle to be a fantastic mogul and tree ski, and while it lacks a bit of the tip to tail consistency of the Kanjo, it's a great choice for skiers looking for a high-end product with a quick and agile nature.

    How does the Kanjo compare to the Stance 84?

  • @SkiEssentials

    @SkiEssentials

    2 жыл бұрын

    Pretty similar, actually. I find the Kanjo is a little more precise, however. It's a better carving ski, at least I think so. The Stance, on the other hand, feels looser and lighter, almost more like a combination of the Kanjo and Blaze 86.
