I love your dresser where did u get it ? :)

I'm 72yrs old & always was a Perfectionist! But I learned early on to assign room upkeep to both our boys! (7yrs apart) On Saturdays they vacuumed & dusted their own rooms (tile & hardwood with area rugs) as well as picked up & put away all toys when they left the area or at bedtime! In the mornings they made their own beds. We started them at 5. If they were old enough to pick up after them selves at school, then they could do so at home! Their clothes, sock, shoes etc were laid out the night before so they could dress themselves! All dishes they used were then taken to the sink. Moms are not the kids slaves & everybody learns to be part of the family unit & work together, picking up after themselves & sharing the work load! (including Dad) By 12 they were doing their own laundry & loading the dishwasher (with supervision) On Saturday we all got everything done quickly in the Morning so that we could go do something as a Family in the Afternoon! Then there was Church on Sunday! Once the youngest was in school I had a Career, too, so I wasn't at home to pick up after them! Our Sons are 53 & 46 now & both had outstanding Military Careers & now have Civilian Jobs that require them to Supervise others (wonder where they learned that?) Their wives also thank us bc they're not married to slobs! 😆🤣 The sooner you start your children on that path the better off you'll be! And Cleaning? There's NO WAY I'd have needed to clean for 7hrs! NO WAY! Enjoyed your Video!

And I’m sure your full time job wasn’t uploading cleaning motivation to KZread. You mentioned Church on Sunday, did you skip over all of the Bible verses that caution you against passing judgment on others? You have never met me, or my husband, or our children. You are in no position to presume to know anything about how our household functions.

“Sometimes you just have to pick your battles”. Thank you for that. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to do months worth of work after work every day this week to be done by Friday. Back to reality.

We have 2 & they are both girls. I don’t choose to show or not show them lol. They don’t like to be around when I’m cleaning so they naturally avoid me while I’m filming.

I have been off my iPad for a couple of days and I missed this video yesterday. I have been staying at my daughters home house sitting her 3 fur babies❤️❤️. They were visiting colleges for my grandson in Jersey City about 20 minutes from New York City. Temperatures was 17 felt like -1 degrees and snow blizzard like. However, being a Florida girl she was in Heaven walking around Manhattan and looking at everything . So today I was in my zone watching your video!!!!!! You always inspire me to continue to keep everything organized. Thank you Megan you are my favorite ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! I’ve listened to both Serial & Undisclosed a few times. I also recently watched the HBO series & I would highly recommend! That series gave updates that hadn’t yet been discovered when the podcasts were recorded.

Omg, so I just searched for cleaning and organizing motivation for today as I'm 8 months pregnant and have a toddler running about and sometimes I need a boost 😂 but I LOVE serial, I first listened to it in high school for a government project and ever since I've been obsessed with true crime! I've listened to it probably 4 or 5 times but putting it on again might just be the motivation I need for today 😂

Thanks! I’m done with all of the tight angles that try to cut out all of the mess in the background. I’ve been making a conscious effort to show what my real life looks like.

I love decluttering and I also have a little bitty decor hoarding problem too! Lol. I love to decorate for the seasons and it does become overwhelming and there is always something cuter the next season! We just recently got a new couch and I have gone crazy getting all new throw pillows and blankets and buying things to decorate my living room! Lol! Spent way too much this weekend!

My dressers were from Ashley furniture around 9ish years ago. They don’t sell them anymore. Sawyer’s bedding is from target 😊

Only one camera 😊 it’s a ridiculous amount of work to film this way, and makes every task not only more tedious but also more drawn out, but I think it adds to the authenticity of my content. 😊
