Toward the end when they start to run a couple actually tripped on the pavement and missed 2 bikes by inches, one actually hit my passenger door trying to get traction. But I admit the title was a little "click Baitey" glad you liked it though.

The only thing in the vid that I thought was jacked, was the clown riding his motorcycle with the radio cranking ruining a nice peaceful day on the wildlife loop pissing off both the heard and it's fans.

Any of the idiots trying drive through em don't understand those animals have the right of way........and those noisy bikes are a hazzard! Shut em off and wait for the animals to move on! That park is their home!

Sturgis has always been a great time.I haven't been since the 49th & 50th anniversary. Hope to go again some day.My wife has had cancer and don't know how long I will have her.We been married for close to 40 years.

In the first instance, my wife and I were on our way back to our campground from dinner in Custer, when we got to blue bell lake, there was a herd watering from a small bay next to the camp store, traffic was jammed as the bison were all over the road so we pulled into a parking area opposite the store, one guy seemed to be impatient, so he started his sea green Thunderbird and began to slowly drive right through the herd, to our surprise he made it through, but when he got through he proceeded to turn around in the entrance to the camp ground, and revving his engine, and blowing his horn, he started back through the herd, at a high rate of speed, several of the big bulls threw their tails, straight into the air, spun around on their hindquarters, and charged! The guy realized his peril, and got out of Dodge a split second before, a huge bulls horns would have skewered his side, that caused a general stampede, a smaller bison, smashed my car door, leaving a large dent, in the second instance, a few days later, we were again headed back to our campground from Rapid city, on the road between park headquarters, and the Roosevelt campground rounding a curve, I was blinded by the bright headlights of cars blocking both lanes, the only thing I could see, was several dark masses in the lights coming fast and dead ahead of me! I spun into a U turn and headed back to the headquarters with bison hot on my tail, I made a quick right into the drive of the Custer Inn, and was able to get away but it was very close.

I’m assuming you’re talking about a bike. It sounds like he was taunting the buffalo herd. Dumb move underestimating the power of the herd.

beautiful bison. but why are the cars stopped? they should move on as soon as they can. I wouldn’t want to sit there on my motorcycle with no protection.

I don't care who is there to observe these beautiful bisons, people needs to remain away from the herd. It was a nice video, I've seen them couple of years ago, they were resting, and intimidating! Love their roar❤️

The buffalo are in the rut this time of year, those bulls are just following around there girl friends! But this is when the bulls can get pissed off! Get in the middle of him and his woman you just became a threat!!!

I don’t know why Yellowstone park allows this to happen. If people only knew how dangerous this is. I used to live in Colorado near Durango in a little town called Bayfield. Regularly I drove to work to Ignacio, and I had to pass a beautiful field filled with bison including a magnificent bull called rolling thunder. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined being in that field either on foot or in my car. Buffalo or bison are extremely dangerous and unpredictable animals. You can easily be killed by one of them, and they are not very friendly usually. People need to stay away from them, the bolder they become the more dangerous the situation becomes. They are not like cattle.

I love the sounds they make!!

No trampling on my screen either. What I did see was some prime examples of riders not knowing how to ride properly. Riding with both legs dangling, both feet (tippy toes actually) down when stopped. MCRider would be so disappointed with these "riders".

It’s amazing that that many people get together one time that are clueless of the harm that a Buffalo can do two people and a motorcycle The first people stop and block the traffic so the rest of them are in harms way not very smart.

Worst thing you can do is keep riding as it may spook them . Just stay motionless and let them have there space. I've only seen one feigned charge at a biker that came up a little to close. Most of these riders have been here before and expect this.

Rode through there last Thursday. The bulk of the herd in that same section were off and away from the road by about 100 yards when I went through. But I did manage to get a close up to two lone bulls in other areas which was super cool. I was only 15 to 20 feet away, which did make me pretty nervous. I moved very slowly. What a great time.

These bison are in South Dakota, not Wyoming. Bison don’t need the excuse of trying to stay safe from flooding to be cranky. ETA: they’re probably cranky from having their peaceful days interrupted by people on those noisy machines in their way!

No buffalo in South Dakota. Those are the American Bison. Buffalo can be found in Africa.

You can’t roller skate in a buffalo herd. So I doubt you can ride a motorcycle. 🦬

Glad the motorcyclists didn't try anything. My friend and I were in Yellowstone and a motorcyclist was trying to move a bison out of the way. Thank goodness the bison didn't do anything too.

Years ago now our small group was cut off by a herd of buffalo at a hairpin curve. The bull was moving quite fast to cross the road to the guard rail. Then we knew why. He then scratched his butt very dramatically on the rail...up and down up and down repeatedly. Everyone was in tears laughing so hard. Just give them plenty of space when your riding as they own the road and know it.

Why don't the cars up ahead try to move. I had the same problem in Yellowstone. The bike is smaller and the bears run right at me. If you are outside of your car you are a target,

Bison or Buffalo, it really doesn’t matter when one thinks you’re in his way and decides to head butt you in the ass! You can think that one over while you’re 20 feet in the air.

When a couple bulls get to fighting and pushing each other around, motorcycles, cars, pickups, bikers, and all other onlookers will not slow the bulls down a bit……..crunch, crunch, bang crash!!!!!! LOL. People aren’t very smart!

I'm a biker, but they should not allow motorcycles in areas where there are bison. The motor noise can't be a good idea. And if provoked they have little to no protection.

Chance of a lifetime to be that close. Only to have the suv just have to not even care or notice. Hurry along mr important.
