Do you go to the Pismo Beach car show? What happened to the show in Paso Robles? That one used to be HUGE back in the 80's.

In Ventura since 97, (had a restored 57 Ranchero) am 75, many cars (MG TD, 31 Chevy 301 w’roller cam, 426 wedge, 5) Austin Healeys, 48 Willy’s 383 torquelflight, blah, blah, blah. Past? don’t know, both Pismo & Santa Maria have good shows, lotta low riders in SM. Ventura has bitchin “Primer Nationals😎” was blown away by a beautiful stock looking 63 Cad 2 dr, the 671 poking thru the hood was awesome!! Was impressed with your show! Am currently hooked on “in car” videos of Nurburgring. Too old for much else! Still looking for a 34 Plymouth 2 dr P.E.

@@kesslermontijo6304 My best friend lived in Arroyo Grande in Corbet Canyon. So I was always driving my car from Pismo Beach to there from 82-89. Maybe you remember it? A gold '72 RS/SS Camaro 350 small block 4 speed with Cragars and it was very low. I put a lot of miles on that car!

Hello from Ohio, cool show! Wish I could be there. Met a guy named John in Oklahoma in the oil field and he was from Riverside that was back in early 80s . He owned a 65 Nova SS in Crocus Yellow. Unfortunately I don't remember his last name. So John if your still around and living in Riverside this is Ted the guy that had the red 65 Nova wagon.

That was an absolutely fantastic video! I can't believe how many beautiful women were driving some of these cars! I just don't see that at Florida car shows. The last California show I was in was in Orcutt back in the 80's. Does anyone know if they still do that show? I also used to do Pismo Beach back then and I heard that show is huge now.

Tell those guys in the "surf truck" that legendary pro surfer Kelly Slater is due to open a man made wave park this year in La Quinta Ca.....it will be the closest place to Las Vegas for them to surf....a little over 300 miles. 😉

In the past it was the first weekend in May but this year it was very end of April.

VWs have always been chick cars, still to this day. You will never see me the owner of one.

I turn mine up every time I go dragracing, 496 goes 566 in the 1/8 122 mph every pass,it's called knowing how to check piston to valve clearance, 😆 🤣

@@WisdomOverWicked777Rules To much to list,AFR fully ported heads and intake has been split for full port,Powerglide ,180 straight cutt ,500 gear and aluminum center 35 spline axels , I'd gear it different for a quarter mile but 860 all day at 160 is my guess ,Put a 250 shot on it if you want to go fast I just bracket race so I don't need all that moly pistons and good rods with after market crank Howard's solid 770 roller,Vega Wagon chassis with 4wheel disc,real race car, Building a 69 chevelle 468 street _ strip/ cruise car too! Happy racing 🏁
