2022 Shasta Gravel Hugger
Over 400 riders compete in the annual Shasta Gravel Hugger in Montague, California. This Spring classic event offers 15 gravel sectors over 100 miles along with some not-so-nice pave. In the long shadow of legendary Mount Shasta, riders test their skills and endurance in two classes with one shared passion ~ gravel roads with stunning views. This film is dedicated to the late Moriah “Mo” Wilson, one of the most talented and brightest stars of the cycling world and will forever be missed.

I have friends who love to bike and seeing this just lets me appreciate how dedicated they are and since I'm unable to bike myself, I'm grateful for you sharing your experience. RIP Mo, her story is so sad. It's a wonderful thing for you to dedicate this film to her.
Capturing Mo Wilson’s infectious energy makes this video powerfully poignant. A reminder for us all to be thankful for the gift of life. May she ride in peace 🤍

In spannish, the winner is a "chuparuedas"
Much more awesome course than the UCI World Championships course. The UCI race was an embarrassment to gravel racing. Gravel is American.
Great video… terrible commentary. If I have to hear the word athletes again 😡

I honestly think that this new culture of Gravel bike riding is DESTROYING our quiet roads around the US!!!!!! Period all this gravel roads were quiet and peaceful.......No anymore! Shasta got RUINED wiith this event!

Gravel racing and riding is also saving a lot of small towns around the US, especially in the Midwest states.

I'm sure a lot of the business owners would disagree. You've got 365 days a year and this event only lasts one of those days. How could it possibly ruin anything? If you really like loneliness that much why don't you move to Alaska?
