Love the gold forged wheels. So many people get a bike that's factory black and go completely Vader and murder it out. But the gold pops on the bike really suit it with the gold wheels. As for the exhaust I prefer the shorter more grunty sound. Though you can't go wrong with any SC Project exhaust.

Still think the old gens look better overall but in certain angles the bike looks great. The mods definitely help. Nice work mate

Thanks for the continued content for these bikes. Just got the rizoma stealths as well and the visibility is better than expected. The rizoma levers look good too, for the reasons you pointed out. Was going to go for the TWM levers but now second-guessing that. Would you recommend the R&G frame and axle sliders, or the Evo tech Italy and/or something else for the axles? Want to get some before doing trackdays with my 22 factory. Cheers

Careful with TWM. They don't fit the new bikes as well. I would get Evotech Italy for main frame sliders and R&G axle sliders.

Sick bike. SC is more crispy and high frequency like while the Akrapovic can is slightly quieter and more bass oriented

True about the Akrapovic.

Those mirrors sure do look nice but I like being able to easily see behind me without having to turn my head. Most reviews mention how you can't really see with these 🤷. My rsv4 has the gold wheels and i was originally planning on going black but the more i see it, the more i want to keep as is. I also did the dark smoke Puig screen since I've never had the need to tuck in outside of the track. Sand i installed the AK slip on with the ECU tune and i love the sound. Don't even need to remove the decibel "killer."

I guess the stock mirrors are the best for visibility. Sounds like you have a nice bike!

Hate to say it!! But whoever installed the tank grips put left side down too low. I did same thing also and had to take off reinstall both sides on my Ultra Dark 2022. 5:48

I like those Rizoma mirrors but I still prefer bar ends. I think they are just more practical, but don’t compromise style.

Black and gold looks perfect. I don't think Aprilia had a color that wouldn't look great with gold wheels in recent years. I'm trying to decide between speed triple rs and a tuono v4 right now. Leaning towards the tuono. Great videos. Thank you.

@Victor Moto I did ride the triumph. All great but neutral was tough to find. Can only do it down from 2nd. Going up from 1st, it just jumps to 2nd. The last tuono I tried was a 2004 or 2005 back when it was a twin but I went with a TL1000R instead...now it's time for a sport naked. I am having a tough time deciding. The more conservative triumph styling is a plus but the sound and tech on the tuono is very appealing. I also feel like Aprilia dealers are more willing to negotiate? Do you agree? Any insight as to what tuonos factory or speed triples rs end up costing OTD? I have always been able to get great deals on Japanese bikes. Not sure how it is with the premium brands.

@@Mr300mph I wouldn't worry about the neutral thing, personally. You won't be riding it in neutral ;). Locally in CA with 10% sales tax (roughly), the Tuono Factory's are around 21.5 - 22K OTD. I always value a good shop to build a relationship with over just finding the best price.

So this is the sc1r slipon for the 2018-2020 rr version right? Does it fit with the new models rear footpegs, or do u need to modify there too?

That's right. It does not fit with the new model OEM right side pegs. Need aftermarket or cut the tab off the mid pipe.

Minor oil leak, simple fix under warranty is not uncommon. I wouldn't let that deter me.

Man I’ve heard about the oil leaks. It would be such a hassle for me because my nearest dealer would be an hr and 45 minutes away, if I have any problems. Is the oil leak just on the oil pan? Or something minor meaning not taking the motor apart right? Lol

@@sepomah Keep in mind this is only a few cases. But it's typically the valve cover gasket on top of the engine.

with the SC1-R do is it possible to gi with the Official Aprilia Race Akra map ? or do I need an other map ?

To answer your question, the gold wheels 100%. Gets compliments everyday. But I will say, they get dirty VERY fast. You need to invest in a good tire cleaner kit lol

2017 - 2020 are the nicest RSV4's particularly 19/20 factory , the Black forged wheels improve the look big time although that gold isn't to yellow & is toned down a bit - This particular model is damn nice when Aprilia released the 21 version in Purple & Neon Red , with Black & White Tank Stripes & a Yellow Shock with hints of neon green not complementing the silver chassis it confirmed to me that Aprilia have aesthetic issues in recent years - behind the Kawasaki bogey green I dont think ive seen an uglier livery

19 was the best year for these bikes. I dont like the new nose and headlights. Plus the price is out of control..
