Perhaps I am wrong, but Comanche is beginning to look like a game-changer, with its extremely wide stern. The immense righting moment that gives allows the boat to be sailed with most of the hull out of the water, reducing the wetted area to something close to a multi-hull. Comanche will never be as fast as a foiling boat, but as far as mono hulls go, she is the one to beat. I am looking forward to seeing Comanche compete again in the Sydney to Hobart, and hopefully set a new record.
