Lanky, your coverage is the best. Puts the networks to shame. It's that beautiful screaming engine noise that I want to hear. Not some damn announcer with the muted sounds of race cars in the background.

@@jstoli996c4s The worst coverage is from the Brits doing the F1 races for Sky. The volume on the announcers is 8x the volume of the cars and they never shut up. They think we tuned in to hear them talk.

I'm with you on that, I was expecting a more enthusiastic exhaust note. But after hearing the actual street car this isn't too far off. That's to be expected with turbocharged GT cars, they always end up muted sadly. Don't get me wrong I love the new M4 GT3!

@@CrSnds The V6 turbo Ford GT was loud though. Even the McLaren and the Vantage do have a bit of a sound, as does the Acura, but M8 was just as anaemic as the M4.

@@Pandamasque I forgot about that you're right! Even though it had a flat exhaust note it was loud which I'm amazed by! How did Multimatic pull that off when the other manufacturers couldn't do it? And yes the McLaren isn't a bad sounding car at all, the Aston is real quiet but love the exhaust pop when it shifts gears. I've heard both in person, just wish they had a little more "vocal" presence.

@@CrSnds That Ford sound always reminded me of something from the '80s, maybe GroupC or even GroupB rally cars.

@@Pandamasque Probably more like the Group B rally cars, most of the Group C prototypes had throatier exhaust notes. Some were flat sounding but none were quiet at all which I loved. I rewatch all those classic Le Mans highlights just to see and hear those cars as they were back then. Whatever Multimatic did to that Ford GT's exhaust note the other manufacturers should follow suit
