Great overview of the @saddlmen Road Sofa Nore. The key to the comfort is that Gelcore technology. It reduces vibration from the bike and also reduces the jarring from bumps. Great for long hauls and my butt sits only on Saddlemen seats on my bikes. Ride safe and enjoy.

I loved my road sofa for the first 1000 miles. Then it turned hard as a board. It is only good for 70 miles now I have to get off. Love the look, hate the feel!

Thanks for a great review! We've been looking for a seat but are still undecided. I'm pretty sure I don't want to be raised 2" so I think the Saddlemen RS would be out. It's a shame because they are an excellent looking seat.

Thanks! Saddlemen seats are great looking and very comfortable. The only downfall is that extra thickness. It doesn't bother me as much since I usually only put one foot down at stop lights and keep the other foot covering the rear brakes.

Great video. Thank you. I'm waffling between the CF or LS. Question: what does your passenger think? My wife is a shortie and I'm wondering if that passenger seat is higher than the stock seat. I think my wife would like something a little higher.

My wife likes the seat. It has more cushion and wider. It does sit higher than stock seats. Also the CF seat does not retain water if you ride in the rain. The LS seat does and you would need a seat cover if riding in rain. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘🏾👍🏽

How do you find the suspension. It was so stiff for me I was getting jarred hard on bumps. I put OHLINS in the rear, it’s better but still rough. Trying to figure out what to do.

Do you have your suspension setup for 2 up riding or solo? On my stock rear suspension, I adjusted the left shock by twisting the knob for my weight plus an additional 10 pounds.

Thanks! For me it was great right out of the box. They do say it takes about 500-1k miles to break in, but I didn't have that issue.

That's one of the reasons the vast majority of stock HD seats are so uncomfortable. It's all marketing. Sales of bikes would be lost when the inexperienced potential customer sat on the "big" bike and the seat height was "too high". So they make seats that sit low and look good.

Yeah, that low and sleek solo stock seat looked good, but was definitely horrible for riding. I still ride with the stock seat on my street glide with no issues at all. And I have 83k miles on it.
