I give you props for going to Sarge's. Most tourists don't know about it. They have the best pastrami and their banana cream pie is out of this world. WAY better than Magnolia banana pudding.

The birds love the pine trees.

You two are really amazing. I am envious of your relentless energy to travel. Thanks for the great videos. I guess I’ll just sit on my sofa and travel vicariously through you. 😂

I love NYC and I totally agree.. it's a city that screams XMas! I was there in February and also stayed at M Social! Love matzo ball soup so I must check out Sarge's! Speaking of food halls, check out The Hugh next time which opened last year. You were just around the corner from it when you went to Ess-a-Bagel. I didn't have time to get a bagel there last time but I will next time! I'm so jelly that you went to NYC in December.. love this video!

I’m a native New Yorker who resides in Brooklyn and one thing I love to do with my sister is to go into the city and see all the beautiful lights and decorated department stores, Rock center, St Patrick’s cathedral and have a great meal. Welcome to the East Coast!! I was just there November 10th!!. You have got to love NYC at Christmas time. I love the big red ornaments and the candy canes!! Thank you for another wonderful video. I am heading to NYC for Christmas (my daughter lives in Williamsburg) so the timing of this one is perfect for me. NYC at Christmastime is magical! I moved to Boston recently from LA and one benefit is being closer to NY which is awesome. I love your LA videos although they make me a bit homesick...Your content is always so good and you two obviously have fun and it is infectious. On a side note, my son and I met Lisa at Downtown Disney this summer right before we moved and she was so nice and it was great to meet her!! We are heading to Las Vegas in Feb so watching those videos is terrific for tips and places to eat.

Yum, next time consider ordering a knishwich …knish sliced in half stuffed with pastrami, mustard is the condiment of choice and elevates a pastrami sandwich, can be ordered as a Ruben as well…Sarges is not under the radar with New Yorkers, and their pastrami is preferred by many. Glad you tried it. Consider hopping on a metro north train when in NY to check out some of the River Towns, Rhinebeck is enchanting at Christmas time, there’s the Culinary Institute of America (need reservations for restaurants in advance) in Hyde Park and and Red Hook just north of Rhinebeck …all wonderful and historic Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures

Hi Bill and Lisa! Thank you for sharing your adventure in NY! Halal Guys and Ess-A-Bagel have been on my forever bucket list…but this CA girl may be going on her first trip to NY not for New Years Eve though but something more special. It’s part of my surprise we are trying to get Phantom of the Opera tickets since I found out the Broadway show will be ending on Broadway. So I have a whole page of places to eat already…going to find all the Mom and Pop old places to eat. But we will extend our trip another 2-3 days to explore the city…CA girl here does not own a snow jacket…lol! How do you pack a snow clothes in a carry on? 😂😢extra luggage needed…😅Going in Jan or Feb…only the coldest time ever there. Thank you for sharing! Take care and be safe!

Thanks so much for posting. I didn't want to go anywhere this year. This video made me want to get out and at least go to the mall and downtown Fort Worth, TX where I'm from to see the lights etc...I literally purchase everything online and work from home. I don't really like being around too many people unless I'm actually on vacation. Funny Hawaii and Las Vegas is very comfortable for me regardless of the crowd.

Been a little down as this is the first holiday without my Mom. Thank you for helping us get into some holiday spirit. New York is a bucket list city for me. Maybe next year for the holidays. Thinking it gives you the option to eat 40 portion as a snack and the 60 portion as a meal. Another long video but it didn't seem that long. It just flew by. Can't wait to see the other videos. I had many a lunch at that Hallal truck. The best Felafel in NY is from a truck on 48th off 6th same side of the street you are on now.

It's an experience for sure!

I worked at 46th and 5th for many years. For a long time, the Halal Guys was the only vegetarian option with falafel and white sauce. Delicious!

Bill and Lisa I went to Hawaii in May this year. I stayed at Hale Koa a military hotel. But you can still walk-thru the gardens and go to Happy's a burger joint. I ate at Happy's everyday and I loved the Burgers and the different mix of flavored ice cream. The barefoot bar is great also. The Hilton Hawaiian village is next door and you can walk-thur also. I was looking for a ABC store near by not knowing one was in the Hilton in walking distance smh 😆. I think they started doing the fireworks at night. I didn't get to see the firework show in front of my hotel because they had been cancelled since Covid when I went. Can't wait to go back one day. Hopefully in the next couple of years. Enjoy your time in Hawaii and Xmas.
