The interior of this car is just gorgeous ❤️❤️🙌
In My opinion E-Power is the best hybrid solution today. Quiet as EV and efficient and easy to refuel like petrol engine. The worst solution is PHEV. You have to take care of gas and charging. I wasn't a big fan of the previous MHEV version of Qashqai because of low performance engine but this E-Power version is like a different car. I actually considering to buy it.

As an EV driver who's just watched this with actual ears, this was absolutely NOT as quiet as an EV. The thrum of the engine was definitely audible.

PHEV is the worst solution? I don't concur. Modern PHEV's have ~60-100 km of EV-only range and as long as you charge at home, the EV-only range alone is often sufficient for most drivers at least in my country (typical driver here drives ~15 000 kilometers annually). Even with 10 years old Opel Ampera I got ~0,9-2 l/100 km lifetime consumption depending of how long trip you did.

@@timaustin2000 The engine was indeed audible. However, the sound insulation definitely blocks other noises (tire noise, wind noise, other vehicles) way better than many EV's. At least, the ones I have driven (EV6, Kia Niro)

@@timaustin2000 However, what I do think is that the engine noise sounds a bit annoying. At least in the video it sounds as if one of the neighbours is using a drill in his/her walls. (Only a bit less loud)

@@timaustin2000 I like that it makes a bit of sound. The silence of electric vehicles freaks me out! I also like that the Aircon is controlled with actual buttons instead of on a touch screen. I have often been accused of being old and I'm ok with that.
Beautiful car and nice drive👍😎
Nice car ❤️❤️😛😛
I wish it came in 4WD version as well, just like the X-trail.
What was your city consumption?
if you can convert later to metan it would be the best option even better than EV!
the consumption is identical to my volvo d2....Mah!

Nope, e-Power is a form of hybrid in the sense that it uses both an electrical motor and combustion engine to power the car. But it's unique and operates differently to other hybrid systems, using electric motors to drive the wheels, rather than the engine.
6.9l/100km?? What's the point then? You even did city and relaxed driving.. Don't get it really.. I was expecting below 5l due to the low speed driving. So disappointed

I believe it's a new car (new engine, first km) after some ...K km, consumption will be less

Why are you ignoring the short distance of 4.9km? My Passat sedan 1.4TSI would have around 8-9l!

me watching this comment with 16l city consumption
The consumption is not so convincingly.

@@lrac111 to each their own. IMHO you can't tell anything from a test drive video either way as driving a car is very different.
