Do what you're comfortable with. I got a '21 Mach 1 for 60k at $900/month comfortably. I got a Scat back in 2017 for $38k and see people paying $60k now 😂 Hellcats $80k+ so I went Mustang. Keep grinding and enjoy the ride!

First off, congrats! It’s awesome to see a fellow mustang owner finally get their dream car!! 1.9% apr is great, I know people who settled on 20% and think it’s “not that bad”, so you did great in that camp. I’d say as long as you are getting the car for YOU, and $1000+ a month in car expenses is manageable, that’s not bad. Remember because that isn’t a manual, it’s gonna be daily driven and isn’t a premium that it’s gonna depreciate a little faster than other mustangs.

I got a 2018 5.0 Premium PP1 A10 for 38k in February. It had 8k miles on it and the previous owner took great care of it. I waited six months and never saw a deal as good as the one I had. 43k for a brand new 5.0 is awesome dude. Congrats on the car!

Congrats on getting your dream car man! Base Model or not! I got my 19 premium with 36k for 38,000 my payments were 700 but I over pay….every month automatically and even do more when I can.

I pay around a thousand for 2023 fully loaded. But I got gap insurance and free oil changes and tires for 2 years.

I’d say you got a good deal. I recently picked up a 2019 GT PP, 401a fully decked out and with 30k miles it was still 41k after all was done. 28k down my payment is like 400 a month. I did choose a lower term tho

I’m 30 been in the army 3 years E-4 , when I joined I had a Hyundai genesis 2013 I bought cash in 2015 . I just hit 110,000 mi had the car for 8 years no payments saving money from civilian jobs and then army with all the bonuses. Just re enlisted got another bonus . I’m well stacked and comfortable but I wanted something different coming from the gutter on my feet to a sedan . Just copped a 2016 mustang co signed with my wife bc I always bought shit cash I hardly had credit but it will be payed off in 4 years then I’ll cop a top of the line current year which will be 2027 . Won’t need no co sign and better rates . But my opinion experience have your fun but at your age I assume you under 23, you need to be stacking like I did . Don’t need to tie yourself up at so young . To me you second guessing bc of other folks opinion. If you happy and comfortable then you made the right choice

Bruh 704 a month plus gas plus insurance. You are paying a thousand a month. Not to mention regular maintenance like oil changes sports car brake jobs. Your insurance payment is great, the interest rate also great. I just think the mistake here was trading a car you were still under water on. I think if you paid it off and came in with 4k-7k you coulda brought that payment down significantly. To each their own. If you are happy then that’s all that matters. I just know I had a scat pack that cost me 550 a month plus 200 a month car insurance plus gas plus a mortgage and normal bills and I was living pay check to pay check on a 120k a year career. I made it two years before I gave up on my money out. Luckily I paid extra each month so I got 6k back.

A little pricey considering you got the base model, which there’s nothing wrong with, but you definitely could’ve gotten a 2020/2021 premium for around the same price. My buddy got his 2019 Mustang GT PP1 for $44k and to be honest the premium trim is alot better when comes to the interior which I’d feel is worth the extra money. Still a nice car bro keep it up👍

I think you got robbed bro, I got 2018 GT for $44k out the door with PP1, magneride, adaptable exhaust, leather seats and 8in screen. Looking back I got a great deal. Even though I think you got had I see a lot of me in you man. I was in the military too and remember getting that itch for my dream new car, so enjoy it bro but don’t fall behind on your payments. Now I'm about to retire and yes, I can get a car with a bull on it and not break the bank but still driving my 15-year-old civic (for now). It's cool that you got your dream car but there are better ways of doing it if you can wait. Not trying to shit on your parade. Just looking up.

Interesting thing about banks, they tell me I can’t afford a loan for a 350k priced house (mortgage is $950 per month) so they make me pay rent for a $1,450 apartment 😂. Then the big guys buy up all the properties so that they can rent them out for a profit, leaving the little guy out to dry without equity or an opportunity for ownership.
