Another great review! This vehicle is the perfect size that it does not look like a boat like the Escalade and other large SUVs. Very posh and swanky looking but with uber steller capabilities and strong predicted reliability. That in itself will fetch a much higher resale value than any other in this class when time to trade in or upgrade.

@Massimo Hack Germans win at speed, performance, and technology but lose at quality control, durability, and reliability- take your pick. Objectively, the new BMWs are absolutely hideous, which is a shame. The oversized kidney shaped grilles were divisive, but now the new split headlights are just an abomination... that's an objective assessment btw, lol
Amazing video you do. Do one on ES F Sport too :)
I like the ruggedness and versatility of the outgoing model more.
I agree with you on some of the cheap material. For the price of this SUV it should have high quality touches and switches all over. And yes, I think Lexus could've done a better job on the interior design.

Good day. Can you make a lexus lx 600 off-road? 1. Is it possible to put differential locks on the front and back of the lx 600? 2. there is a 2022 Lexus LX600 Ultra Luxury, it has 4 seats, you can remove them and put the 2nd and 3rd row. So that there are 7 places, and do the paperwork. 3. Can you supply winches, a power bumper?

@@sonypd9842 no way- the landcruiser gauge cluster looks better (more expensive even- the lexus cluster is abruptly cut with cheap plastic molding). the landcruiser center console doesn't have extra, tacked on screens clouding it up- the LX's center console is a mess- looks like an afterthought. I want the LX to be better, but visually the interior is lesser than the landcruiser, 100%
You can tell there's cost cutting after you sit in an LS. For 100k, this has the cheaper version of the steering wheel cover where there's no stitching, but the less expensive LS has the real deal.
Excellent! Thank you. Video stabilization please... Your channel and audience would appreciate that.

Great review as always, over all for me the interior screams Toyota Sequioa or Tundra TRD PRO. At 100K plus an Escalade, I think would be more practical as an on-road large family luxury cruiser, for those that go off the beaten path the new Range Rovers I'm sure are up to the task. As a great balance of quality, luxury and driving dynamics I'm sure the new BMW X7 will find many homes as a great all-rounder at these price points.

Question 🙋♀️ with the start engine button being right by the top screen is there an urge to perhaps push the button in error while driving (playing with the screen while driving?)
Disappointing to see Lexus cut their interior budget. I've sat in a few RXes and ESes and there were always a few hard surfaces and cheap hinges, but I thought the L-series vehicles were immune from cheaping out. The only manufacturer with good interior quality and high reliability seem to be Mazda and Acura. Unfortunately for off-road luxury enthusiasts, the MDX and eventual CX-90 are in a different class than the LX. That basically leaves Land Rover, Cadillac, and Lincoln to cover large luxury off-roaders, and their reliability is the opposite of Lexus.

@@jonlosito2004 I've been saying similar things around these comments, but to be fair, some buyers might cross-shop a different segment. I think packaging will always be compromised because the LX is body-on-frame and has to be *just* small enough to fit in European and Asian countries. I'm glad they tried to improve its MPG despite the inherent compromises of its boxy shape, but interior space might be more difficult. I'd so suggest the Lexus RX-L as an alternative but we know its rear legroom is also terrible, so I guess that leaves the American luxury manufacturers.

they really need to re-work that 2013 interior/infotainment system
I do feel it is a bit dated. I had a 2012 GX460 and always longing for the LX. However after years passed, I do feel the LX (and the new GX) feels unnecessarily busy and dated.
Why would it always switch to Hi Mode? Mine doesn't do that.
How does the interior already look dated??

I love how Lexus jumped back in time to 2014 with that dual screen setup like Infiniti had in their Q50 (sarcasm). Also that partial lcd cluster looks trashy for a $120k suv. This interior is just trash imo it’s easily 5+ years outdated and somehow the last gen LX570 looked like a way more luxurious interior.
Who approved the center stack? What a mess.
I think Toyota missed the boat on this, the new sequoia and the new tundra lineup.

Whats more comfortable for a long drive G Wagon, Merc S-Class or Lexus LX600?
@asimrc
Жыл бұрын
The S-Class has a more luxurious interior with more legroom and headroom, as well as a more comfortable ride. The LX600 is a close second, with a spacious interior and a comfortable ride. The G-Wagon is the least comfortable of the three, with a cramped interior and a bumpy ride. Here is a more detailed comparison of the three cars: Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pros: Luxurious interior Comfortable ride Long list of standard features Cons: Expensive Not as off-road capable as the G-Wagon or LX600 Lexus LX600 Pros: Spacious interior Comfortable ride V8 engine provides plenty of power Cons: Not as luxurious as the S-Class Expensive Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Pros: Rugged and capable off-road V8 engine provides plenty of power Cons: Cramped interior Bumpy ride Expensive Ultimately, the best car for a long drive is the one that best suits your needs and budget. If you're looking for the most luxurious and comfortable ride, the S-Class is the way to go. If you need a car that can handle off-road terrain, the G-Wagon is a good option. And if you're looking for a car that's somewhere in between, the LX600 is a great choice.

God dammit why do you sound so much like Mark from savagegeese it messes with my head. Am i the only one here ? Also i just love your videos.
I wouldn't say this is in the same category as the Cadillac Escalade, it's a smaller less powerful SUV
*Lexus is any day infinite times reliable and better performer than the most overrated Range Rovers*
My only issue with these turbo 6's is that the MPG they advertise is always deceptive- moreso than for NA engines. They basically quote you the MPG without using any boost; you're told the MPG numbers for your engine effectively without a turbo. Ford does the same thing with the ecoboost. If you use any turbo whatsoever, you are getting less MPG than they advertise. So, to get the "improved MPG" you're driving a vehicle that feels FAR WEAKER than the v8 counterpart/predecessor that you just gave up.
What's up with the creaking noises ?
How is beautiful!
What’s is the price ?
In my opinion interior all black would be much better

I’ve sat in the “3rd row” of a Highlander from Virginia to Florida. I wouldn’t recommend it even for 20 minutes let alone 12 hours. The “3rd row” seating it vehicles like this, the Atlas and the Highlander are gimmicks, they are 95% useless for seating a normal sized human.
The land ;) cruiser was outdated however it was a coherent véhicule, those new Lexus body on frame are full of contradictions, it's an uneven product that has lost his charms. If they were doing a vintage edition, i am sure it would be a huge success
