2022 Indian Super Chief Review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I was suppose to test ride and review the Ducati Diavel today and ended up on an Indian Super Chief instead........ (there was a lot of cussing that was cut out due to traffic.)

That’s not traffic at all 😂. I live in central Florida, and I would hear people talking about the traffic. I’m from California. I can show you what traffic looks like 😂. Any ways, that’s definitely a beautiful bike. I think Indian are doing a VERY good job.

I ordered the Super Chief Limited. It was as you said soooo comfortable. I couldn't find one thing I didn't like about it. I expect it in about another month.

That's what we've fallin to here in the way down south of FL, constant traffic and mostly nitwits to boot.

As you already like the Ducati Multistrada but may also want a companion cruiser, you should really try the Diavel. And if that’s too much bike for simple around-town errands, then the new Monster+ looks pretty slick and one I plan to test ride just for the fun of it.

Have a Chief Dark Horse on the way. First cruiser. Been riding dual sports almost exclusively for 15 years. Have “sampled” a lot of other bikes over the years but not owned. We shall see how cruiser life goes. It’s a rule it in or rule it out kind of purchase for me.

Depends on your riding style. I really don't know. With my Ducati Multistrada V4S I can get close to 200 miles or 115 miles depending on how I ride. With this Chief I think they mileage can vary just as much.

You are so worried about the oil cooled bike, because you have a Ducati. Never seen an Indian overheat in traffic, but I see Ducati overheat in Seattle traffic. Did you feel the top of that rear head when you got back to the dealer? Was it super hot? The liquid cooled bikes you feel more on your legs because the radiator has a fan that is pushing hot air out on your thighs. My Triumph Tiger is unbearable in stop and go 85+ degree heat. The engine can handle it fine, but I am cooked. That windshield comes off with two screws. Easy on and off. Did the weight feel ok? It’s a heavy bike. I want to test ride one, none in my area.

Just bought my Super Chief last week. It does have cylinder de activation and it still gets warm but makes it more comfortable. Here in California with temps over 90 degrees when purchased and ridden. I’m no bike aficionado but so far I love it! Congrats on purchase and be safe.

If it was a Harley I would agree, but the Indian platform certainly is light years ahead of Harley with nimbleness. Of course they are not sport bikes.

We heard that Indian will only sell you one of these bikes if you are older than 62 as they are trying to reduce the average age of their owner base. AARP recommended that Indian built in a navigation system so that forgetful owners can always find their way home............Eventually. Local Police are recommending these bikes for the elderly folk and are looking forward to lower missing people reports filed by concerned family members when grandpa stays out after dark One awesome feature Indian added was "Keyless ignition" so that the elderly won't forget where they put the key and as an added bonus family members can use the key fob to stop grandpa from escaping the senior living retirement home These Indians are similar to a warm glass of milk and a nice walk in the part with Fido It is so refreshing to find a motorcycle manufacturer who cater for Seniors above 60
