As a person who was in that competition, that was absolute peak robot design
wow thats crazy! seeing it compared to normal size FRC robots is just insane, its as big as an FTC robot XD! Great job team!
Amazing idea for an off-season project, plus fantastic execution (and a great video)! I loved rooting for Short Stack at NTX. Keep up the great work, howdy bots!

Thank you very much!
This is so cute! And here I was thinking our 24 by 24 frame perimeter was small lol
This is a fine mix of adorable and incredible, great job. Most people would just have it go for the low but you made it capable of going for the high goal with very good consistency, love it.
Hahaha I love that now I want to try that in ftc with a diffy swerve that I made it’s currently 12” x 12” but it can be way smaller so I’m going for that thanks for the inspiration!
loved seeing this at TRI 😂
I imagine a Charged Up mini robot could be even smaller
this is the greatest frc robot of all time

Awesome, thanks so much!
If you put propellor on it may be able to fly and get traversal rung 😂
Love it
imagine mini swerve that would be so cool
I love this
Amazing
So you're saying there's almost no way of going smaller, but we CAN go LIGHTER
thats amazinggggg
now this it epic
Shortstack has monopolized the algorithm apparently
Fun size
tiniest swerve drive next?

Well, probably everything would have to be custom, since standard swerve takes up a lot of room.
legends lol
Do you guys have a CAD for this? Or even build instructions? Would love for my team to try this!

We do have CAD! It's at the bottom of our 2022 resources list at howdybots.org/2022-cad/ . Let us know how yours turns out!

I am dying to know, is it small enough to drive out of the field through the Terminal?

Minus the intake, yes!
Is the name based off rocket league sideswipe?

In our first 2022 event, there was a drive-train-only bot named Pancake... Short Stack was named in homage to them
how much does it weigh?
@howdybots6377

With battery and bumper, it's about 60 pounds. And that also counts several metal plates that are there purely to keep the battery tight and provide offsetting weight so we don't tip when it picks up a cargo ball :)
