If I remember correctly this new 5 speed is basically just a spaced-out 4 speed but that's not bad because I always felt like the older groms needed a extra gear

Aw man, just got my 2022 grom as my first bike to legally ride, (i also have my project 84 nighthawk 650 in the works) and im absolutely loving it. Im calling it my backroad bomber LOL. Cant wait for more videos on yours! Excited to see the mods!

All I know about the Grom is this.. 1. Add a wind visor for my tall ass (6'6") 2. Sprocket Swap for taller gearing/higher top speed 3. It's advertised 100mpg stock, the wind visor and sprocket swap can help increase this 4. There's unironically pretty good luggage options for the Grom. 5. It won't get me any speeding tickets >.

this buy is so good in the uk for commuting the mpg is insane and its so diddy it makes lightwork of filtering, also helps most roads to work are 30-40 mph so its peeeerfect, honda knocked this bike out the park

Stock My 2023, same bike goes like 65 tucked in the flats with no wind. Downhill I’ve hit 71. Im 155 lbs at 3200 ft elevation.

Just got mine yesterday same place but yellow all they had 👌🏻but for sure west coast hooked it up

I got 74 Speedo on my SF but I weigh 165 also the EU groms seem to be faster.

Stock 2018 Grom I hit 72 mph laying completely flat on my stomach going downhill 😂

The bike is built with big similarities to my cb300r. I just upgraded from a z125…highly doubt these new groms are gonna hit 70 stock with anyone on it unless it’s downhill.

@Dankwheelie check under your seat area for rust mine had rust in 9 locations under the seat area get a torch and look on welded areas inc subframe and main frame and tank bracket to the main frame in front of the battery every one who has a 2021/2022 grom go check if you do report it to Honda headquarters of your country then also report it to your dealership

My 2019 can go 72mph at 9,200rpm(revlimiter) with sprockets front -1 rear +2 removed muffler, and a drilled out air box which essentially is a ram air intake🤣

Yeah lol but He looked to see if there was any cars coming from that long ass straightaway . he slowed down im sure he would've stopped if there was a car . other than that kinda pointless to (at least in that specific location)

I looked at the gearing a while back and they really did just space the gearing out so it's the same as the 4 speed, just 1 more shift. Didn't really "add" a 5th gear unfortunately.

What’s wrong with queen bee yellow :( bought it by default (first and only one at my local dealer, unknown eta for next shipment/what colors are expected to arrive) and now the yellow has really grown on me, I figure the majority of people will go for black/blue/white w decals so I I like to believe the yellow makes me unique haha

Under 50 miles i hit 72-73 stock 2400 miles still 72-73 max 65mph steady exhaust

71 mph with some tail wind is what i got stock
