Can't wait to see you U7K review since the CES 2023 I'm pretty excited. I'm a Pc gamer and was shocked at the price of MiniLed 1440p Ultrawide Monitor of 32inch+ size (around 1300$ usd). At this point i feel a U7K would be better than a Pc gaming monitor and be a great Tv at the same time. Mini Led is important for me due to playing games with static Hud so Oled is a big no -no. Thanks!

These are the type of tv's definitely geared toward the average consumer and it's a good thing because a lot of people can't really afford to spend thousands of dollars for a T.V.. What makes this type of T.V. impressive to me is that they have a lot of the high end features you find on the premium brand tv's for a lot less.

I'm glad to see Hisense and TCL make TV's that are affordable for almost everyone. And that they are really good TV's and not a budget TV nightmare. I own TCL and Hisense TV's and I can say most consumer's would be satisfied with either one of them.

Fully agreed. I love OLED and respect it, I just don't have $15k for an 85" and would rather have size over negligible quality in my simpleton eyes/opinion. I'm sure more affluent people willing to spend $15k on an OLED 85" to match size would argue the variable of nuance but it looks great to me 👍 plus it's fucking huge. I member two strong, large men would struggle (I did) with an 85" 20 years ago and now my shit is 130lbs, if not 6 1/2 feet wide I could just take care of it myself, not the 350lb ridiculous Mitsubishi huge projector big screens

It can be removed from the upper right corner withe a small yellow label. The protection screen i am talking about can be seen through this whole video. Do i have to remove this plastic folie thats covering the entire screen? Is it neccesary to leave the cover? or is it better to remove?

I bought mine at Costco a couple of weeks ago, but it's called the U75H there, because it has a 3 year warranty. My problem with the set is that the voice command on the remote does not allow me to change TV channels. It just pops up KZread selections or some internal app. I called their tech support and they tell me that the microphone button only works on the TV's apps. My 2 year old LG allows me to jump directly in to a channel. I pickup 123 digital channels in Phoenix and 16 NextGen with the internal tuner. Using the UP & DOWN buttons is a real pain. I asked them if they had a remote with a number pad that would work with this TV, but they said no. The TV has a beautiful picture and the sound is also pretty good. I just can't believe that they don't support voice commands for the TV tuner. With all of the shortcut buttons on the remote, I don't have to use the voice command to switch apps.

U8H comes very close to QD OLED in full screen scenes when streaming (Netflix The Witcher comes to mind) but fall way behind when there are black bars due to the slight black lift, or in the most challenging dark HDR scenes. Also, Dolby Vision on the U8H is slightly overbrightened compared to A95K. However, U8H is easily better than any miniLED QLED/LCD TVs currently for sale from Samsung and Sony!

Watched the Astros in 4K and it was excellent. And I will tell everyone, that to get to the HDMI Enhanced mode, you need to select the "Square and 2 lines" icon menu button on the remote. This was needed to enable all of the gaming features for the Xbox Series X to work.

@@Pidgeys the size and the discount. I was going to choose the Sony Bravia X85K, but then I found out that it can't do 120Hz and 4K at the same time because the X1 chip inside the TV isn't powerful enough to support both, which means the HDMI 2.1 ports are useless. The next option was a 75 inch TV, but when I spoke to the sales rep on live chat, they said it comes without a wall mount because it's too big, which means I'd have to find and pay extra for a third-party one, then I'd have to pay extra again for the store workers to install it and mount the TV, then I got worried about what if it's not strong enough to support the TV weight, or what if the store workers screw it up and do it wrong because it's not their brand of wall mount bracket, and would that void the warranty because they can't take responsibility for a third party brand. So I decided not to buy it. I almost gave up then I saw this offer for the Hisense A6G, last year's model for half price for 70 inches. And Stop The FOMO always says screen size is the best way to maximize immersion. It doesnt have HDMI 2.1 but that's okay, I decided I want a 4K TV for streaming movies/shows rather than gaming, and FOMO says dont pay extra for features you're not going to use. So it was either forget about 4K or jump on this now and consider it a gift from god that came at the right time at the right price. I have to say I love it, and there's still room for improvement for my next 4K TV purchase.

I see a lot of people, not only with this make of television but many, complaining about judder and what motion smoothing settings to use. The answer is none..no smoothing, no noise correction ..nothing. it's the apps, Blu-ray players ect that you are using. You need to turn on auto refresh rate or refresh rate switching. That way your tv plays the videos original frame rate instead of trying to play a 24fps film at 60fps ect. That is all. Plex, youtube, games, DVD players, Blu-ray players ect...turn on auto refresh rate or refresh rate switching. Then turn off all the unneeded processing in your tv's advanced picture settings. One more thing, with smart tv's, force close apps you are not using and clear cache, not data..just cache. The more apps that are open, the more processing and ram you are using. Apps usually do not actually close when you exit out. I own the u7h, it runs beautifully. No judder, no stutter, no blur..just clean and crisp picture.

Just got this delivered from Costco yesterday. Audio issues right out of the box. If you connect a receiver/sound bar through the "Optical Audio Output", you probably won't hear any sound. After setting Audio Output to Dolby Digital, you have to set the TV to "Live TV", Power Off the TV, make sure the receiver is set to "TV Audio", turn off the receiver , turn on the receiver, then turn on the TV. At this point, you may hear the audio but notice that their is a "lag" and the lip sync is off. Also, the audio is very low and you have to crank the volume up on receiver. If you don't hear any sound, you have to repeat the steps. If you hear audio and go to settings or go to the home screen and open an streaming app, the audio will also cut off. Then you will have to turn off the TV and turn it on again. The TV also had an awful electronic smell. Used two air purifiers and it kept coming out. Called Costco Tech Support and the Agent told us turn off the TV right away. She was afraid there was something burning inside the TV and that we were at risk of getting an electrical shock. Told us to pack it up and return it. Another strange issue was the onboard Netflix picture was not crisp or sharp. Colors looked dull and picture was blah. However, when I hooked up an "Apple TV 4K" box and streamed Netflix, it was super colorful and sharp. The picture was awesome. The Picture was superb as everyone else has attested, but these issues just killed our hype and hope for this TV or any Hisense TV.

No problems with foul odor either....you may have gotten a lemon.
