This parade is named for Gaeton "Gator" Gangi its founder a firefighter in Winsted from 97 until his death in Dec 2004 days before the st parade. Fire trucks, ambulances, emergency vehicles decorated with Christmas decorations and lights playing music, sirens, horns ,blaring lights while parading through the streets of Winsted throwing candy to bystanders enjoying the parade.
