You're quickly becoming my favorite prepper Gear related channel. I miss the old Zombie Squad forums and reading through people's kits, and you're filling that need for me. Keep up the good work.

Nice kit. One bit of info that I think you will find helpful…while there are water purification tabs that require a 4 hour wait, the ones you have ARE NOT those. Fortunately you have the ones that only take 30 minutes : ) I really enjoy your vids!

Love the vid, this is my first time on your channel. I do hope your car has a proximity device so you don't have to put your key in the ignition to start the car. You should never have that much weight on your ignition cylinder, it will cause damage. I would like to mention that as a former chain smoker and former tobacco store district manager, those lighters have a short usage life because of how much butane they use to make that torch-type flamen. You'd be better served with an infinity match (I carry one along with a 2ml bottle of additional lighter fluid) or a Bic/Mini Bic. If you want distance, since the butane jet lighter doesn't allow the flame to bend and can aim for your fingers, there are mini Bics with a built-on extension so that it's essentially a mini candle lighter. And it will last for years if it's unused. That's a brilliant idea using the orange reflective tape. I have a label maker with a couple of really bright colored tape, that are hard to read if printed on because it's black writing. Now I know I can use that tape to put on my items to keep them visible if dropped. Awesome idea!

After alot of trial and error, I realized I didn't need to be carrying a bunch of stuff on my person, trying to keep things as minimalistic as possible. So I have two carrying bag options: a Maxpedition edcm huge maximizer that I keep in my car's console, full of goodies, and for longer trips, a Vanquest Trident 21, loaded with just about everything I could think of. Just discovered your channel and subbed.

You can change your lighter from butane to plasma which can be charged with USB C and add a fishing weight to keychain and a hook to the bag can be good. Or there are multi tools credit size big you can add. Lastly , a solar charger powerbank or case for your phone will feed all your system as well. But your system is already good to go as it is.

Sharpie as a tape holder is pretty brilliant when you can accomodate cylinders or dont need much tape. Could probably do the same with a pen ink cartridge. What i usually do is cut a flat piece of plastic blister pack a little smaller than the slip pocket on an organizer and then wrap that in rows of different tape -- keeps it flat and you can carry a lot. I find it fits organizers better than doing the same with an old gift card

Ill tell you what, you really piss me off. Ive been prepping for a long time now and id consider myself pretty decent at my orginization of my supplies into different kits and bags. Ive stumbled on your channel and after watching every video you've put out, your ability to pack so much into such little and tight packages is infuriating. I have alot of the same items in my similiar bags and packs but you manage to shrink it down into half the size if not smaller making me rethink my entire set up and thanks to you ive stripped out all my bags and supplies trying to repack into tighter more compact sizes. So damn you and your excellent videos.

5:50 That is NOT a large screwdriver. It's a chisel with a package opener on the side as well as wire strippers on it. Do NOT use it as a screwdriver, you will spoil that chisel edge! There is another tool in there that is a large screwdriver and bottle opener and a mini pry-bar all combined in one, with a wire bender too on it, use that for driving large screws, not the chisel!!! 🙂

Jesus, I think I'd have to move to wearing suspenders if I want to carry that keyring on my belt loop. I have one of those charging cables, I like it. I carry a couple disposable power banks. They don't carry a huge charge in them, but each has enough to charge one of the current phones from dead to 30% or so. I cannot stress enough that if you want to carry one, don't skimp out with the cheap ones. I learned that after the first two I bought: one only managed to add about 10%, while the other not only didn't charge my phone, it actually drained it quickly.

Honestly, unless you’re living in a 3rd world country, you don’t need half that stuff unless you just like carrying stuff. Here’s a challenge for you, keep track for a month of everything you use in your EDC and get back to us. Don’t think in possibilities but probabilities.

  • @DontForgetYourLunch35

Probabilities go out the window when one finds themselves in an improbable and bad situation. This EDC kit provides for the major life supporting categories, in addition to everyday situations. I like the concept of Black Swan preparedness (credit Nassim Taleb). Those prepared for a highly unlikely and unforeseen event will likely survive over the majority who are focused primarily on probable more mundane events.

You may wanna repost this or redo it entirely. Flashing your keys like that is a big Secuirty issue on your part. If you don’t know how people can track you down and stalk you then get into your stuff with homemade keys based off pictures taken from your video you are failing at security, even more than you are now. Don’t believe me? Educate yourself.

Just say the lumens like a pro and move on. Anyone watching who gives a heck KNOWS brightness by lumens. Took a good video and made it a D minus.
