    There were two Streetfighters in my novice group at my recent track day. One was going very super slow even for the novice group. I assume because he was terrified by the idea of crashing such an expensive bike. The other ran off track in the second session.

    Bought one after one year of a V4S. Run-in just finished. Wheels amazing. You can feel the difference just moving it engine off in the garage...even considering the forged marchesini I had..Next month on track, but I swear you'd appreciate the specs on roads too. Last, no need to explain what kind of arousal I feel opening the garage.

    Yeah i bought one too, it's in my red gloss color garage inbetween my Superleggera V4 and next to my Desmosedici RR, my La Ferrari Aperta, my F-40, my Ferrari 250 GTO. But as dailies i prefer my Ducat Streetfighter V2 or Multistrada V2 and Ferrari F8 Spider or Ferrari 296 or SF90, these are less show off and have less bragging rights and more "stealth wealth", you know what i mean for sure ;-)

    How many people ride 10 year old 600cc Japanese in-line 4 supersport to its potential? Why does this matter every time when manufacturers make something cutting-edge that’s too good for mortals people come up with using it to it’s full potential. just ride and shut up.

    What's your point Peter? To actually know the number of people who can or can't? How about bracket them into segments, able to ride the bike to, 70-79% of its ability? 80-89%? Hell, one MotoGP racer might be 0.2s per lap quicker than another MotoGP rider, so there you've already got one person who clearly cannot ride this bike to its full potential..?

    Its actually a bargain compared to the V-4S, if you had to buy the wheels alone you would be at the 10k difference, but you aldo get a dry clutch/carbon wings/different springs/better brake master/different seat/and no red Ducati paint which is a deal breaker for me!! The V-4S in red after blacking out the silver radiator guards looks more meniecing that this black!!!

    Nice little vid & an awesome machine. Goes to show power isn't always the answer. Having decent brakes & suspension is the first thing people should focus on before adding significantly more power as without them it probably makes the bike worse.

    Wise words! That's why I love bikes like street triple or Duke 790/890 as they offer brakes and suspension that are top notch and are more than capable to handle those 118-123 hp

    @@ragerider6283 I have a Ducati 899 Panigale, last year I fitted BST carbon wheels and K-Tech dds pro suspension to it and it totally transformed the bike in every dynamic aspect, acceleration, braking , handling, ride quality etc, it was like giving it an extra 20 bhp overnight, really fantastic to ride now. Far more noticeable improvement to the bike than a Termi exhaust system or whatever.

    @@jockojockoson9995 I know that. 35bhp (17%) lost in translation. Bull5hit more like. Don't quote transmission losses, chain, tyre etc. Ducati have been overquoting since my 916 days. Put it on a dyno nowhere near what was quoted. Same with my 996. My S1000R is 162 at the wheel (BMW quote 165) . Go Germans. Personally I don't give a fig just bored in work. Even my hack 1990-70k mile VFR is within 10% of it original quoted power. OOHH lunch time.

    @azn_1050

    @@jockojockoson9995 maybe he meant to say 170whp at the dyno. which would be ridiculously low. 208bhp with 15% loss (usually it's 12-15%) would give 194 whp at least, in perfect conditions. Then again, different dyno's give different results. Some are very optimistic and some aren't. So don't see it as the be all and end all. Also Ducati likes to claim a lot of things...
